Chapter 908 Their Female Partners (Part One)

A Ferrari parked at the gate of the hotel and the security personnel immediately walked up to it and

opened the door respectfully.

Mike got down from the car, took off his dark glasses and looked around the hotel.

Amanda Wang, wearing a pink dress, got off the car elegantly with a delicate handbag in her hand.

Smiling, she walked beside Mike and linked her arm into his. "Kindly, let's get inside," she invited in a

sweet voice.

Mike took a squint at the beautiful lady and asked, "What if we meet your father at the party?"

"No, I wouldn't mind. I will introduce you to him as my boyfriend." With a natural smile, Amanda Wang

replied, looking Mike straight in the eyes. Generally, Amanda Wang was quite an open-minded lady.

"I am not sure whether your father will be very impressed to see us together," said Mike, looking

worried. He then continued, "I also wonder how the media will report on the daughter of a public

security bureau chief dating an unknown guy like me."

But Amanda Wang wasn't worried at all. Unruffled and carrying herself with elegance still, she firmly

replied, "The whole media in this city is under Lawrence's control. Whichever twist of a story you want

Wang assured, beaming with a smile.

Just when Mike and Amanda Wang were about to get into the hotel, a car pulled into the parking lot,

not far away. Mike recognized it immediately that it was Greg's car.

"Let's wait a moment. It seems Greg is already here," Mike said, taking hold of her hand. They then

stood there and waited for Greg.

Getting off the car first, Greg strode to the passenger's seat, opened the door and helped a woman out

of the car, like a gentleman.

When she took hold of Greg's hand, Melisa Ouyang, got off the car gracefully. "Thank you!" she said

and gave Greg a sweet smile.

"You are welcome! Let's get inside!" They clasped arms and walked leisurely toward the entrance.

They were about to get inside the hotel, when they heard someone to the left of the entry greeting

them.

"Hey, Greg!" Mike, who was standing barely a meter away called out.

Greg and Melisa turned their heads and saw Mike.

Smiling sweetly, Mike and Amanda came closer to them.

When Mike saw clearly who the woman beside Greg was, he said good-humoredly, "Wow, isn't this the

daughter of Mr. Ouyang, the Chairman of Finance Bureau? Nice to meet you, Miss Ouyang!" Mike

greeted politely, though he seemed cynical.

"Nice to meet you, too!" Melisa Ouyang greeted back, nodding her head. She then turned to look at

Amanda Wang, and smiled. Though she had never talked to her, they had severally met, mostly at the

parties. As the daughter of Public Security Bureau chief, she was very popular.

"How do you do!" Melisa Ouyang greeted.

"How do you do!" Amanda Wang responded, nodding agreeably.

Pleasantly surprised, Greg also greeted Amanda. "Mike, is this my sister-in-law to be?"

Slightly blushing, Mike gave him a weak smile and didn't reply him.

"I wonder whether I'll be fortunate enough to have Mike's hand in marriage," Smiling, Amanda Wang

turned to look at Mike. "Mike, give me a chance, please?" she lightly quipped.

"The two of you are a perfect match!" Melisa Ouyang complimented.

"Indeed they are!" Greg agreed."With such beautiful girl by your side, I guess you've found the perfect

escape from some of your father's wishes."

"Dad has never held much sway on my decisions anyway?" Mike retorted, not wanting to give Amanda

the impression of a man still under his dad's control.

"Why would he have to escape his from his dad's wishes?" asked Amanda Wang, feeling confused.

Was there anything that Mike was hiding from her?

"Well, Mike is an interesting guy who has never been keen on girls, or more precisely, not on marrying

them. And that has always been a source of concern for his dad. His old man has even tried arranging

blind dates for our guy, but Mike, being the clever chap he is, has always wriggled himself out of the

trap. But having a hot, intelligent girl like you with your charming social graces, I guess all that may

change. In you, Mike has hit the jackpot! Or what else would a man want besides a queen like you?"

Greg exuded with praise, even as he tried to explain.

But Mike gave a telling look and called out his name, "Greg!"

Amanda Wang and Melisa Ouyang understood the tacit exchange between the two gentlemen. Mike

was indicating Greg not to reveal too much.

Clearly, Amanda understood everything now, and a transient smile crossed her face, even though she

restrained herself, trying to keep an expressionless face.

Melisa too was a sensible girl, and Greg's excitable talk was making her ill at ease. 'It must be even

more awkward for Amanda, ' she thought.

"Guys, why don't we get inside?" she suggested, motioning politely for Amanda and Mike to walk in

first. "We would better be in and seated before the party begins," she added. They were here for a

charity fundraiser, which was about to start and her tactful suggestion saved them both the

embarrassment moment and the inconvenience of getting in late when the function was already

underway.

"Okay, let's go in!" Mike echoed and walked ahead with Amanda.

Greg and Melisa followed them closely behind.

In the colossal, magnificent hall, the arrival of the two gorgeous ladies flanked by two suave guys

immediately caused a stir in the audience. For their wealth, power, and good looks to match, they stood
