Chapter 64 Unexpected Visitor
Chapter 64 Unexpected Visitor
Baron and Tracy lay on each side of Lara. For a moment, nobody moved or said anything. Only soft
breath filled the room.
But Baron hardly slept. There was a faint fragrance hanging in the air. It was Tracy’s scent. Who, at this
age, could resist such quivering intensity?
The same was true for Tracy. She had never shared a bed with a man in her life, except five years ago
when she and Baron were drugged.
The next morning at 5: 30, as the sunlight slowly crept into the room, Baron opened his eyes. He woke
up out of habit because he worked out every day.
But today was different. When he bowed his head, a pretty face leaped to his eyes. Tracy lay with her
head on Baron’s arm, and one arm fell around his neck, her black hair cascading across the pillow. And
Lara was sleeping at the other end of the bed.
The sexy scene was torture to him. Through the silence, something throbbed, making his heart thump.
He was trying to calm himself down. Tracy was asleep and Baron didn't want to wake her up. For the
first time in five years, he gave up morning exercises and he pretended to be asleep.
Some hours later, Tracy slowly opened her eyes. She found her arm around his neck. She could hear
his heavy breathing. Tracy's face went red and pushed Baron away. “What happened last night? Did
we…”
Baron no longer pretended to be asleep. He rubbed his eyes and asked, “Honey, what are you talking
about?”
Tracy looked at Lara, who was sleeping at the other end. Then she realized she misunderstood Baron.
Last night Tracy slept deeply in Baron’s arms. When she thought about it, her face turned red again.
“Honey, did you have bad dreams?” Baron asked jokingly.
“Yes! I just dreamt you bullied me!” Tracy said and went to the bathroom.
Staring after Tracy, Baron could not help smiling at her embarrassment.
When they went downstairs, Sherry was watching TV. Tracy found her mom didn’t make them
breakfast! There was nothing but an empty bowl. It was apparent that Sherry cooked breakfast just for
herself.
“Good morning! Baron, Tracy!” Yuri got up too and said with a smile.
“Mom, where is breakfast?” Tracy asked.
“I ate it all.” Sherry sneered.
“Mom, what do you mean by that?” Tracy asked angrily.
“You know it! You two yelled at me loudly last night. You are disrespectful to me! Why should I cook for
you? No! Never!” Sherry said despitefully.
“We have to work except you! And we paid you! But now you don't even make us breakfast!” Tracy said
sadly.
“I raised you two and you are now old enough! Don't I have the right to ask you for some money?”
Sherry argued back. ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Yuri gave a sudden flash of anger. She shouted, “No, it's not true! You are only my mother by birth.
What else did you do besides that? You are an idle, useless mom. We have been brought up by my
grandmother! Without her, Tracy and I would have starved to death.”
“Humph! Do you think you are qualified as a mother? We were supposed to get a servant but you said
no because you wanted that salary. Well, as you are ready to quit, you are not getting any money from
this day forward.” Yuri said and walked out angrily.
Upon hearing this, Sherry got very nervous. Money was her whole life, so, she hurried to catch up with
Yuri and apologized, “Yuri, don’t be angry. It's just a joke. Starting tomorrow, I will cook for you every
day.”
Yuri ignored her mom and left, without even looking back.
“Let's eat out,” Tracy said to Baron and took Lara with them.
“Tracy! Wait, wait, wait. I am about to make you breakfast,” said Sherry urgently. But they were long
gone.
As they left one by one, Sherry was so frustrated. Terry didn't care about her. She could only count on
the daughters’ support. But now she had nothing and no one.
“I'm so miserable! What shall I do?” Sherry muttered to herself.
In fact, she had enough money to support herself. But she wanted more than that from her daughters.
After breakfast, Tracy and Baron sent Lara to the kindergarten. Then they all went to work.
When Tracy barely reached the office, her secretary came in and said, “Miss Perry, someone is waiting
for you. He said he is your old friend and will do business with you today.”
Tracy listened to her words with wonder. She asked, “What’s his name?”
“He didn't say. He only said he is your old friend. He is about thirty, looks young and handsome,” the
secretary replied.
