“Our company will definitely bring great profit to Petterson,” she replied.

“Are you stupid?” Joseph asked exasperatingly.

“Don’t be angry, I’m just suggesting. I don’t mean anything else by it.” Chloe weakly pulled at his sleeve. “If you don’t want to, then forget it.”

She already knew that the true masterminds behind this were Ava and Melody.

Joseph gazed at Chloe, who was wearing loose hospital clothes. Her pretty face was pale, and her eyes were watery. Although there was a red welt on her cheek, the swelling had subsided somewhat. She looked pitiful, making one feel like protecting her.
