I woke up in the middle of the night with sweat covering my face. I sat up quickly and gulp down the glass of water on the table next to the bed. My head hurts. I keep having flash of images but none of them makes any sense. Shakily, I got up from bed and walk towards the bathroom to pee.

“You-you said I was pregnant earlier” I stated not sure if I heard him right.

“I-i..-” “Are you not happy?” Elijah asked cutting my stammering and turning me to face him.

“I don’t know.. I-I don’t know how to feel” I whispered looking at the hair on his chest.

He place his hand under my chin and tilts my head up to look at his face.

“Do you love me” He suddenly asked and my eyes widen. He gulped waiting for my answer and shifts uncomfortably on his feet.

“Yes” I mumbled and he released a sigh before smiling. “I love you too”, he murmured cupping my cheeks and placing a kiss on my lips.

He breaks the kiss and suddenly got down on one knee and brings out a box from his pocket.

“Celeste, I know this is very sudden but I wish to spend the rest of my life with you. After you went missing during those weeks I realized how much I love you and need you. I found the reason for my smile the day I met you and fuck..” He cussed rubbing his palm on my sweatpant.

“I want you to be my queen Celeste… Will you marry me?” He asked. I stood there staring at him with my hands over my mouth as a single tear fell down my face.

“Yes!” I screamed with a smile on my face while Elijah chuckled getting on his feet. He took the ring out of the box then placed the box on the counter.
