“Old Mr. Quillen, you need to go…” Alessandra grinned sourly and sobbed.

“One of us needs to be present when Mackenzie’s baby is born! My life is not

valuable enough to be mourned. Remind yourself to come and tell me how it

goes when you… die.”

Alessandra…” Sob! Without warning, Terence looked ten years older than

usual and lost his vigor as a leader. He felt like a lonely, grieving old man right

now.

“Old Mr. Quillen, please leave!” Without waiting for Terence, Gautier had him

taken off and shut the door himself.

The entire city of Nuthana was shocked as word of the Quillen family incident

quickly circulated throughout the community.

It was the next morning, in the Summerton family’s company, in Onza.

Ashton stormed into Julian’s office, warning him to exercise caution these

prevent the issue, you people ought to go from Nuthana!”

Is it because of the Quillen family incident?” Having recently learned of the

horrible tragedy surrounding the Quillen family, Julian stood up with

trepidation.

However, Ashton possessed official and more thorough information than he

did.

“Almost every important Quillen family member was attacked. Stephanie Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

instantly perished in a catastrophic auto accident! Moira was pushed off the

eighteenth floor, and she was smashed. Samantha was shot, and now she’s

in the hospital in severe condition with little hope of recovery! Sophie’s odds

of surviving after falling into the sea are poor. A violent fire destroyed the

Quillen residence, and it has been established that Emmanuel’s mother,

Alessandra, is dead! Terence is missing; he was probably charred to ashes in

the fire.”

Julian slammed his hand hard on the table, his expression filled with anguish

and rage at hearing Alyssa reiterate the facts. “D*mn it! Who was capable of

doing this? Roselynn has been unwell lately. I’m not sure whether she’ll be

able to handle the news that her mother has passed away! D*mn it! I must

eliminate those b*stards!” Julian was hurting.

The invites had already been mailed out, and he and Roselynn were getting

ready for their wedding dinner later this month. He was unsure, though, if the

wedding could still proceed in light of this. Roselynn’s mother had passed

away, Emmanuel had not come back, and his parents were gone. Julian

questioned if anyone else could make it to the wedding.

“Julian, pull yourself together!” With a sigh, Ashton attempted to console him.

“You’re a man, and right now Roselynn needs your support very much. As she

did for you in the past, she needs you to be at her side during these trying

times.”

Julian nodded at the words.

“Although the culprit’s name is currently unclear, I have a suspicion that they

are connected to the Verkade family. The chairman of the Chamber of

Commerce has undoubtedly been attempting to remove the Chairman of

the Nuthana Chamber of Commerce. His goal is to give his lackeys more

authority. He had to have helped the Verkade family destroy the Quillen

family. Right now, there’s a risk for anyone connected to the Quillen family!

Roselynn and you need to exercise extreme caution, Julian. For the time

being, lay low and stay out of the spotlight.”

Julian nodded, understanding that there was no time to be depressed and

waste it. He said, “Roselynn is sick,” very quickly. “She’s probably unaware of all

of this yesterday since she spent the entire day sleeping in her bed at home.

I have to go to her immediately.” After saying so, he hurried to return home.

Ashton and the police caught up with him as well. The secretary hurried in

and announced, “Mr. Summerton, your house has just been attacked,” before

they had even left the company. “There’s a fire, I heard!”

“What?” Blood was instantly drained out of Julian’s face. “This is outrageous!!”

Ashton gave an order right away, “Quick! Get over there quickly, keep

Roselynn safe, and apprehend those responsible!” It was evident that the

enemy’s goal was to destroy not just the Quillen family but also all of their

allies. The mastermind must be extremely strong. In Chanaea, only a select

few were capable of such actions. Even if they identified who it was, they

were unable to fight back.

On the other hand, following several days of sailing, Emmanuel and

Mackenzie remained lost in the huge ocean.

Despite carrying rations, the ship could not support three thousand people

for over twenty days. Not only were many of them weak and tired, but

everyone was becoming hungry.

Emmanuel just made sure his wife had enough food, despite his privilege.

Like everyone else, he had been hungry for a very long time.
