“I am first of all going to start with the restaurant part of the pla…” Ella had just started talking when Liza, who had been looking for the least opportunity to discredit her, interrupted her mockingly.

“You made us wait here to talk about a restaurant where there are restaurants everywhere?”

“Miss Liza, the last time I checked, you aren’t a shareholder in this company yet, you act like you own this company. Didn’t your parents teach you manners? You are condemning a restaurant project, which idea do you have? Now, listen very attentively, until I roundup with my presentation, Liza you are hereby prohibited to talk or shake from where you are sitting.” Ella warned with an overbearing tone and Liza looked at Elion for help but he completely ignored her and she had no choice but to be calm and Ella looked at Elion as if she wanted to ask, “Why didn’t you defend her this time around”? After looking at Elion, she smiled and continued with her exposition.

“Like I was saying, There are many people that desire just to get into a plane but they don’t have the means…”

“From restaurant to plane.” Liza whispered to the hearing of everyone and was about to laugh when Ella walked up to her in a domineering manner and gave her a very hard slap leaving everyone stunned because no one has ever dared to slap her not to mention slapping her in public. Everyone looked at Elion to say something but he remained quietly and gave a deaf ear to Liza’s sobs. Seeing that Elion said nothing, Liza stood and was about to leave but Raisa forced her back to her seat and everyone was stunned by how skillfully she did it effortlessly.

“No one dared to walk out on my boss or disobey her.” Raisa warned and Liza sat in embarrassment.

“Like I was saying before the devil interrupted, so many people don’t have the means to get into a plane and so, to make our restaurants outstanding, the structure of our restaurants should be exactly like a plane both from the outside and the inside…”

Elion Copper clapped to the amazement of everyone and they immediately joined him and the grumpy faces suddenly became that of satisfaction and Liza was shocked how good the project was.

” So, In order to generate more income, we are going to build three of these structures on the same piece of land in each town. We will have an economics class…”

After Ella carefully rounded up with her presentation, everyone was very satisfied and they couldn’t hide their joy. Henry was very satisfied and knowing he couldn’t give Ella a handshake to congratulate her, he rather went to her assistant and gave her a tight hug before complementing her boss.

“You have a great boss and I’m happy she’s my boss too.”

Raisa reciprocated the hug and nodded in satisfaction. The remaining five that had to sign after the presentation immediately signed the agreement and going through the signed agreements, Ella saw Elion’s signature for the very first time and was shocked. She had seen the exact signature somewhere but couldn’t really recall where exactly. Just when she was about going to the next agreement, she suddenly recalled where she saw the signature. It was the same as that of her disabled husband four years ago and this reality stoke her like a tornado. In order to confirm her suspicions, she sought out Henry’s agreement and checked his signature and was shocked to see that it looked exactly like that of her brother-in-law four years ago. She looked at the signatures again and looked at Elion who had not gotten his eyes off her ever since she stepped in. Ella walked up to Elion without anyone noticing since they were all going through the documented project that had just been presented and Elion, Ella, Henry and Raisa equally didn’t reveal the tension at the moment. She looked at Elion who was looking at her with so much lust and passion. Ella was about tearing up and Elion and Henry were confused about what the issue was and before they could say anything, Ella’s question confused them the most.

“My husband of four years ago does not actually exist right?” Seeing the shock on their faces, Ella continued.

“Even his brother doesn’t exist right?”

“What are you talking about?” Elion asked with so much affection in his voice.

“You really want to know what I’m talking about? Aren’t you the one to explain to me what I’m talking about?” She placed the two agreements containing the two signatures on the table in front of Elion before she continued. “The two signatures in front of you are the same as that of my husband and brother-in-law of four years ago who disappeared the same day you two came into the picture.”

Hearing this, Elion and Henry thought Ella had misunderstood the whole thing and Elion tried denouncing her suspicions but was stunned by Ella’s response.

“My girl, nothing happened to your husband or his brother. I didn’t harm them…”

“You didn’t harm them because they didn’t exist. That man of four years ago was actually you and his brother; your PA here. Why did you have to deceive me? Why? That’s the reason why you constantly reminded me that I am a married woman? So, no one actually sold me to you?”

“Your foster parents did.” Elion responded like a child trying to defend himself. The tension on their faces and voices were so strong but they had to keep their voices low for fear of revealing things. Just then, Liza and Maya were done going through the project only to lift their heads to see Elion and Ella staring into each other’s eyes and the atmosphere around them was very tense. Liza quickly called out to Elion and started attacking Ella with words.

“Elion, is everything okay?” Liza’s concerned voice was what finally brought the two of them back to their senses and they both looked at Liza at the same time and Liza who was angry with Ella couldn’t hold it anymore.

“Miss, what right do you think you have to try to intimidate Elion?” Liza’s words made everyone look towards Elion and Ella in anticipation.

“And who do you think you are to question me?” She turned to Elion and added. “Warn this your dog not to bark at just everyone else’s, I will let my PA show her the difference between a toothless bulldog and a dog that doesn’t bark at all but whose bite is a timely bomb.”

Ella burst out laughing after listening to Liza and she responded mockingly.

“Oh Liza, you are indeed his childhood friend?”

“Yes, the only one that has been with him since he was just 5 years old.” Liza said like the first lady.

“Oh I see, didn’t you just say you know everything about him?” Ella asked sarcastically with folded arms.

“Everything miss. I know everything.” Liza responded and Ella turned to Elion and the manner at which she addressed Elion and what she said next shocked everyone to the core because it was something none could ever imagine especially Liza. Even Elion and Henry were shocked to the core and this was the first time that Elion was visibly shocked.

“Oh I see. Elion, so she’s aware you got married four years ago?” Elion was stunned but at the same time very pleased because since he saw Ella in the morning, he suddenly developed the burning desire to shout it out loud to the whole world that Ella is his wife and the only lady he had ever loved.

“Married? Elion?” Liza asked and laughed out mockingly.

“For your information, Elion is not married and doesn’t even have plans to do so anytime soon.”

Instead of responding, Ella smiled victoriously and looked at Elion whose answer shocked everyone.

“Liza, she’s right. I am happily married. I got married four years ago.
