Chapter 44 Our Show Time (Part Two)
Chapter 44 Our Show Time (Part Two)
Roland looked at her with a smile but said nothing.
As the director of XY High School's dance club, Amy was almost undoubtedly clamored to perform on
the stage. Clare echoed with a big smile on her face, "if Amie dances, we'd better let John play with
her."
Although John and Carl were usually indifferent to people and things, they were not the kind of people
who were superior and refused to be far away from others. Since they chose to join the party, they
would cooperate with the friends who didn't ask too much.
So, after Amy went on the stage, John followed her and sat in front of the piano.
He opened the lid of the piano and looked at Amy, who was warming up on the other side of the stage.
"What song?" he asked
Amy thought for a few seconds and said, "A maiden's prayer." This song was composed by a young girl
in Poland when she was twelve years old. It was not difficult to play, but it was one of Amy's favorite
songs.
"A maiden's prayer." someone once praised it as a "wavy melody" with a "simple and clear note", and
the melody was soft and gentle. Those quietly flowing notes seemed to be able to soften a person's
heart.
When the music started, Amy also moved to the center of the stage. The reason why Amy's dance was
attractive was not only because of her solid dancing skills, but also because of her sense of stage
control. Amy, who was on the stage, was totally different from when she was off the stage. She was
gentle and shy, and even a little introverted when she was off stage. But once she was on the stage,
she was like a different person, the most dazzling existence on the whole stage. The dance steps were
confident and perfect, and every step, turn or jump, was full of vitality, infected everyone off the stage.
John played the piano and occasionally looked up at Amy in the center of the stage. Each step of her
was exactly the same as the rhythm point he played.
They seemed to have cooperated with each other for many times.
Under the stage, Carl moved his eyes from the stage to Vincent.
He found that since Jill proposed to hold a "concert", Vincent became quiet suddenly. At first, he
thought Vincent was too noisy and tired before, until Amy went on the stage.
When Amy started to dance, Carl saw that Vincent couldn't help sitting up straight when he saw Amy,
but the light in his eyes all disappeared in an instant, and there was only darkness in his eyes.
Carl couldn't help but worry, "Vincent, is there anything bothering he? Or did he treat Amy..
When the last piano note jumped out of the key, Amy also finished her dance. After the last dance, she NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.
bowed to the audience and thanked them. When she stood up, her face flushed slightly. She lowered
her head and quickly walked down the stage.
John stood up, left the piano and went off the stage from the side.
Cassie smiled and handed the prepared wet tissue to Amy who was sitting in front of the chair. For the
performance of the two, she praised them generously, "it's really a double enjoyment of hearing and
vision. Amie, your dancing skills seem to have improved a lot. "
"Really?" Amy took the tissue and said shyly, "In fact, I have been lazy recently. I thought I would be
criticized by you for giving in."
After Amy and John were selected, only Clare and Carl were left to perform on the stage. Jill suggested
excitedly, "I've seen John and Amy, and I think the performance of the two is more interesting. Clare
and Carl, why don't you two perform together? Anyway, one zither and one flute are both classical
instruments, so it shouldn't be difficult for you to play together."
"No problem." After saying that, Clare looked at Carl and asked, "What about you?"
Carl was also looking at her. Hearing her question, he asked indifferently, "what do you want to play
with me?"
Clare thought for a while and pushed the question to others, "Is there anyone who wants to order?"
Joe blurted out without hesitation, "Butterfly Lovers." When she was in her first year of high school, she
inadvertently heard Carl play Butterfly Lovers with the long flute once. The melody seemed to still stay
in her mind. When it was quiet, a note would indistinctly jump out and disturb her mood.
Clare thought for a while and said, "Butterfly Lovers Fine. Then let's play the piece of music of studying
together. It's a little brisk. " After all, they came out for fun today. They should be happy. She'd better
not play those sad songs.
"Carl, is that okay?" She asked Carl for his opinion.
Carl took out the flute from the showcase.
Clare walked onto the stage, sat down in front of the zither, put on the turtle shell armor, and
straightened her tone. After everything was ready, she nodded to Carl.
When the melodious melody rang, Clare looked up at Carl, and inexplicably remembered one of the
songs of Butterfly Lovers in the TV play, "We have been classmates for three long years. You and I are
sitting side by side and have deep feelings for each other. We can't be a couple in this world. We can
fly around like butterflies. We will be together forever... "
It was a romance for them to turn into a butterfly. When they met, they would fly together, making
branches, butterflies in love with flowers, and butterflies in love with bamboos. The melody of Butterfly
Lovers was passed down from ancient times to present, and they would like to be a couple, as beautiful
as water and as beautiful as dream.
They only hoped that lovers would get married.
