Episode-117 "is this gangster dad with tattoos cool?"
** Celeste's POV:**
I walked further to dad's study, I knocked the door and walked in, I have decided
something.. I am going to be strong... more stronger than ever...
Dad was
surprised to see me, Ace was also there.. I don't mind Ace... Dad said, "Cele... do
you need anything?... " I looked at dad and said, "I need to talk..."
Dad gave a light
smile and said, "sit.." I won't lie... my dad Mr. Turner... looks like a gangster..
maybe he was a gangster in the past. Now he is a weapon trader for the King... he
has tattoo's all over his hand's even fingers and his neck also shows some part
of his tattoo's, he is still well built... but he is my father... he treats me
right... supports me as a father, makes me feel protected..
I sat in front of
him and said, "dad.... I-" I hesitated, Dad said, "you can ask or say anything..."
I took a deep breath..
I said, "I want to
learn self defense and guns.... I want to protect myself..." I met dad's eyes and Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
said, "dad.. can you help me?" he smiled and said, "good decision... I am proud
of you that you want to learn something to develop yourself... confidence kills fear..."
Dad said to Ace,
"Ace... you and Daisy will train Celeste for one hour a day..." he turned to me and
said, "is it ok?" I nodded with a smile...
I said,
"thanks..." I looked around the room and I noticed a picture, I walked to the
table and pulled the small frame in my hand, it's me when I was 9 or 10... I am
in this favorite dress of mine in the park... I can recognize myself, mom has a
album, it's from that...
I heard dad said,
"that's the picture I had.... I was so jealous of Reef that you called him dad...
he could carry you on his shoulders and take you to park... but I couldn't..." I looked at him, I can tell
he
is guilty...
He added, "it's my
fault... I was arrogant and prideful.. I though it doesn't matter that a women
was pregnant with my child.... I thought what it has to do with me, I moved
forward... but after few years I couldn't stop thinking about the child, how old
the baby would be?.. will the baby look like me?... is it a boy or a girl?...
one day I threw my pride and searched for you, I cried when I saw that picture,
I didn't have guts to face you... I was so ashamed to be a father like that.... But
I went to your mom for you, she said, for you Reef was your father, she didn't
wanted you to have that trauma in early age.. I backed off, but I took a DNA
test.... I decided to fight for custody... when I was about to file for custody, I
thought will you agree for being my daughter, look at me... was it even right to
take you away from the family you known... I stopped but I had my ways to ensure
you were doing well.... I was so proud to know about your achievements... I was bad
father for a perfect daughter like you..." I noticed a tear drop from his eyes,
my eyes are filled with tears....
I walked to dad
and took his hand, I said, "it's fine... you saved me... I am thankful to have
father like you.... about past... we can be best father-daughter in future.... My dad
is cool with tattoos on neck... you look cool..." he chuckled as he patted my
cheeks... he said, "is this gangster dad with tattoos cool?" I chucked through
tears as I said, "yes" I noticed Ace was looking at us... he didn't reacted or
anything, the same straight face..
I said, "dad.. why
doesn't he smiles?... or our joke just sucked?" Dad looked at Ace and said,
"that boy doesn't know to smile or laugh"
I smiled at Ace,
he looked away, did I made him angry? Dad asked, "did you eat?" I just replied
with a simple no'
Dad said, "then...
let's make a super cheesy sandwich..."
Dad turned to the
door, I followed him and said, "you know to cook?" Ace replied, "he can just
make the sandwich.." Ace opened the door for us. Dad said, "don't expose my
cool moment in front of my daughter..." I chuckled and followed them...
