Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman

Chapter 2389

Chapter 2389

Ethan had a headache after hearing this, but he could only be silent now.

When Naya saw that her father was silent and not speaking, her face darkened in dissatisfaction. “Why

are you still not siding with me at this time? What have you worked so hard for most of your life for? Is it

to let an outsider bully your daughter whom you have cherished since she was young?”

“Naya, calm down. Take care of your body. Don't get angry with your father. You should know in your

heart how much your father loves you.”

Naya's mother raised her hand and patted Naya's shoulder to reassure her. She wanted to hold Naya's

hand, but when she saw the handcuffs on Naya's other wrist, she was on the verge of an emotional

breakdown. A spark of hatred also started burning within her. 2

“Naya, tell me. What do you want us to do? Even if your dad refuses to do it, I’l] do it for you no matter

what! I’ve disliked Ava for a very long time. She's hurt you to this point. I’]] make her life a living hell.”

When she heard what her mother said, a sinister smile immediately appeared on Naya’s face.

She looked at her mother with fierce eyes. She did not look like a patient who was injured and in need

of recuperation at all.

“I want Ava to die.”

Naya spat out these five words from her mouth. Naya's mother was stunned, while Ethan could not

believe that the daughter he had raised since birth was such a ruthless person.

However, the facts told him that the princess he cherished was more vicious than he imagined.

After leaving the detention ward, Ethan felt very uneasy. When he turned his head and saw his wife

thinking about something, he quickly advised. “You must not listen to Naya.”

His wife pondered for a while before speaking leisurely.

“Actually, from the moment Naya was sentenced to prison, I had thought about avenging my precious

daughter. Ava caused our daughter to suffer so much by relying on the fact that Daniel likes her. And I

hate her opinionated mother. I get angry the moment I look at her. I can’t suffer this grievance in silence

after being bullied by that pair of mother and daughter.”

Ethan felt uneasy when he heard that. “Listen to what you're saying. Are you about to do something

stupid? Do you want to spend the rest of your life in jail just like our daughter?”

“Don't worry, I won't.” Ethan’s wife reassured him, but she had already made up her mind.

She would not just let this matter end like this.

Ava went back to work as normal at her company. Nothing else happened since Naya's mother came

to make trouble that day.

At first, Ava decided to temporarily stay in Old Whitman Manor so that at least she would have

Madeline to take care of her. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

However, since Daniel started to come and pick her up from work every day, Ava went back to her

apartment. Although Daniel's memory had not recovered, he and Ava did not feel uncomfortable or

awkward when they were interacting with each other.

This made Ava abnormally happy. To her, the person Daniel cared the most about in his heart was still

her. It did not matter whether he had lost his memories or if they had to start over.

Friday evening, Ava finished her work as normal. When she was about to go home, she ran into Tom

who was about to leave too.

Tom politely offered to drive her back but Ava rejected him decisively.

After she went downstairs alone using the elevator, she went to the place where Daniel would usually

wait for her. However, Daniel did not show up today.
