MAKE YOU MINE

She felt the force of him deep inside her as he took her with barely contained violence and she moved her hips and clung to him as excitement surged through her body, caring for nothing except the need which grew and grew from deep within. He came into her hard and fast and Kelly welcomed the union with as much savage satisfaction as he took in it, a tumultuous fever of possession gripping both of them.

He thrust deep and he did it again and again until her vision blurred and her entire body exploded in a shower of sensation so exquisitely perfect that for a moment she ceased to breathe. She felt him shudder as he reached his own desperate climax and then there was only the slow descent back to normality. The unsteady breathing. The sudden intrusion of the outside world into their private space. The scattered bed spread….

Dazed and disoriented, it was only as he gently moved to the side that Kelly realized that, although she was totally naked, he was fully clothed. Even his stylish silk tie was still in place.

He shifted slightly, gliding his hand gently over her rounded belly.

“Are you okay? I went so hard and I forgot the baby,” he murmured incredulously

“The baby is fine,” she said stiffly.

For some reason, this stark reminder that she had thought nothing but her own need for him increased her mortification and she got out of the bed and retrieved the remains of her torn shirt. Head bowed, fingers shaking, she slipped it on and reached for her trousers.

Dimitri reached out and caught her arm, his eyes dark and stormy, his breathing less than steady. “We really need to talk, Kelly…. Please…”

He was going to tell her that they might as well stay together until such time as he grew bored with her. A place in his bed and his life until he decided that it was time to fill it with someone different. That was all the marriage was about. The company, their baby and sex. He didn’t love her

Well, that wasn’t what she wanted. What they shared was too powerful, but it was just sex…. Nothing more. And sex wasn’t enough for her. She couldn’t live with him, knowing what he didn’t care. Knowing that he didn’t love her. Maybe he would leave when the time was right. When it suited him.

Eventually he would get bored with the sex and then where would she? In love with a man who didn’t return her feelings and she couldn’t live with that.

This marriage was doomed before it even began. He had to let her go. There was no need to postpone the inevitable. So she would leave and make it easy for him.

The following morning after Dimitri went out, Kelly packed up most of her stuff and got in her car. She knew that she was going to need help as her pregnancy progressed so she called Evelyn. She could move around now, but soon she wouldn’t be able to do everything on her own.

She could talk to her dad about all this later… When she was ready. But now she wanted to focus on healing emotionally… And her baby. The thought that she was actually doing this left her unutterably depressed and she was so lost in thought as she drove back to her place.

Oh why was she kidding herself? She thought as she brushed her tears away angrily. She and Dimitri never stood a chance. All they shared was passion and that just wasn’t enough.

Evelyn was there already when she arrived, and she was so thankful that she had someone to look after her for now. At least she wouldn’t be alone.

Evelyn didn’t press her to tell her what was bothering her. She knew that Kelly was exhausted and that she would tell her when she was ready, so she just urged her to get some rest, and Kelly was glad to oblige. She felt so drained physically, mentally and emotionally.

She slept for hours and when she woke up it was already seven pm. She stretched and made her way to the bathroom. Sleeping had helped her a lot for sure. Now she needed a hot bath.

A few minutes later when she walked back into the room, clad in her bathrobe, she stopped in shock. The bathroom door slammed shut behind her but she wasn’t even aware of that.

Dimitri stood by a desk in the middle of the room, dressed in another sleek designer suit, his handsome face taut with strain.

“Do you have any idea how fucking worried and scared I was when I came home and realized that you were gone?” he asked her, “So that’s how you are going to do this? I leave the house and you run away? Why?”

She found her voice, “What are you doing here, Dimitri?” she managed to ask.

“I had to call your dad first. When he said you didn’t call him, I decided to come down here. You didn’t even bother to leave a message” he said in a raw, impatient tone. “And why did I have to convince Evelyn to let me see my own wife?”Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Kelly curled her hands into her palms. “I don’t want to be around you, Dimitri. You wanted the company, you can have it. I really don’t care about anything anymore. I have my baby to worry about and I’m not going to raise it in a toxic environment. I hope you live happily ever after.

She felt her voice Crack and she headed for the door, intending to leave before she made a complete fool of herself again, but he moved so swiftly that she didn’t even manage to take more than a step towards freedom.

“You are not going anywhere” he said grimly, propelling her against the wall and trapping her there with his arms on the wall.

It reminded her of the previous night with him and she felt tears threaten again.

“I can’t do this any more, Dimitri. I’m not running away with your child if that’s what you are worried about. Just leave me alone”

“I can’t do that,” he replied.

“You can. You can do whatever you want. You can even divorce me now. There’s no need to wait”

He looked confused, “Divorce?” Dimitri repeated. “Where the hell did you get that from? I won’t be divorcing you…. Ever”.
