Trent stopped the car in the parking lot of a pharmacy because Skyler requested to go there.

“You just wait here for me, let me get some drugs,” she told him and he nodded.

Since Skyler had been sick since yesterday, he didn’t suspect anything so he just nodded and watched Skyler go in.

In the pharmacy, Skyler was a bit nervous as she waited for the pharmacist to finish attending to the other customers. When it was finally only her, she moved forward.

“Can I get a pregnancy kit, please? Not just a pregnancy kit, I need like five from different brands” she requested.

The pharmacist nodded and went to get what was told.

“These are from a really popular brand, they are always positive with their answers so you don’t have to worry about getting any false hope,” a middle-aged man in glasses who happened to be the pharmacist told her with an assuring smile.

Skyler just nodded and took all of them, she paid through transfer and thanked the man before stepping out of the place. The sweet smell of donuts hit her nose, there was a breakfast Cafe beside the pharmacy and she couldn’t resist it no matter how hard she tried.

“Let me get some snacks first, maybe it would relieve my tension, ” she told herself before going there.

When she came out, she was with two cartons of donuts and milk tea. She handed one to Trent who collected it with a confused face.

“Thank you ma’am even though.. I just finished eating breakfast” he sounded a bit unsure.

“Well if you don’t want it then you can give it back” Skyler rolled her eyes as she opened the donut and began eating.

“Don’t worry ma’am, I’ll touch it a little later” he smiled at her and began driving to the company.

Maya came down from her car and walked towards Agnes’ door. She knocked on it repeatedly but no one answered, she kept banging it and the neighbors beside the house came outside.

“Ma’am please reduce it a little, you’re disturbing the neighbors,” one of them said.

“And besides are you looking for the woman here, she moved out some days ago,” the second neighbor said.

Maya was speechless, when did Agnes move out? She didn’t even bother telling her anything. Maya took her phone and dialed Agnes’ line, it rang but no one picked it up.

She re-dialed her number again and began calling, surprisingly Agnes picked up. Maya was stunned, she didn’t even know where to start so she just went ahead to question where Agnes had been.

“Where have you been? What you did isn’t fair because you called yourself my bestie and you just disappeared wherever you like and didn’t bother telling me anything!” Maya started by complaining.

“Do you think I wished to disappear? You didn’t ask me why I made this decision before you started complaining?” Although Maya couldn’t see Agnes’ face, she could tell that she was frowning.

“Why did you disappear then?” Maya asked dryly.

“Your daughter-in-law said something to your son and he came here to warn us to stay away from all of you or else he would ruin our reputation out to the public, I don’t know the reputation we have but I don’t wanna test your son”

After hearing what Agnes said, Maya was truly angry.

‘Damn you Skyler, why do you have to interfere in my personal life? I will choke you for real!’

She hung up and angrily turned around before matching off, thinking of a good way to deal with Skyler.

“First of all, I’m the second Grandson of Mario Delgado and I have a lot of responsibility to handle so I can’t just drop all of them simply because of school” he scoffed.

“If he doesn’t want to come to school then he can drop out, why is he using his family name as an excuse?” Cynthia whispered to Skyler and Hudson’s eyes went to her.

He pointed at her immediately.

“What do you mean by that? I don’t need to make any excuses because my family owns this place, I can come in and out anytime I want! My family pays your salary to Miss Elizabeth” he fired.

“If that’s so then why don’t you just drop out? School is school, as long as you came here to learn then we don’t care about your family’s name!” Cynthia fired at him too and that was how they began arguing.

The class turned to an argument hall and Skyler took it as an opportunity to escape. She stood up and took the pharmacy nylon along with her then excused herself from the class.
