Mason was on his way to the hospital when he heard Skyler was giving birth but while driving, he noticed this truck coming opposite him like it wanted to hit him on purpose, Mason narrowed his eyes and tried turning his wheel to the other side but it wouldn’t move.

He narrowed his eyes and tried again but it still didn’t move and that was when he saw a note on his car.

He looked forward again and the truck was already very close to hitting him.

Seems like there was no hope left for him was what he was about to start thinking but coming to think of not being able to see Skyler or his kids that were about to be born today ever again made him change his mind.

If his brakes can’t move then he would just have to get down from his car with his own hands. While the car still moving, he pushed the door open and jumped out but didn’t land on his feet.

It wasn’t up to thirty minutes when the car crashed with the truck. It began licking, Mason knew it was going to explode so he managed to raise himself from the ground and began running.

A few seconds later, the explosion happened and it still affected him but that didn’t keep him from finding his way to the hospital.

A knock sounded on the door of Skyler’s and Mason slowly opened it before entering.

Everyone was sitting together, Kiara was holding the baby boy and Skyler was holding the baby girl. When she saw Mason, she froze and Edna collected the girl from her.

“Should we give them some time alone? Mason won’t move from the door” Hudson whispered to Emily.

“No need, the babies can not leave this room for now” Emily whispered.

Mason eventually moved from the door over to where Skyler was lying. Tears came out of Skyler’s eyes as he got close.

“Beautiful, I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you were pushing. You don’t know how much I hate myself for it” he said sadly as he took her hands and kissed it.

“It’s fine, I heard you had an accident let me see your injuries,” she said softly.

“I’m fine, the injuries are not that serious, just give it a week and it will disappear,” he said softly.

“But just let me see them,” Skyler said with a pleading voice and Mason sighed before rolling his sleeve up. He had a big cut on his arms.

“And I have one more at my back but it doesn’t matter, they don’t hurt so much” he assured her and immediately changed the topic before she started crying.

“Where are our kids, let me see them?” He asked softly.

“Behind you, here’s your handsome baby boy,” Kiara said and Mason turned back to look at the boy. He smiled softly when he saw the little face.

“Cute” he muttered.

“Won’t you carry your kids?” Edna asked because Mason looked like he had been avoiding carrying them.

“I erh… I have injuries on my arms and..” he began looking for excuses when the truth was that he was scared to touch them because they were so title, he thought they would fall from his hands.

Mason slowly looked at Skyler and she nodded at him with a smile. He carried the boy but his hands weren’t strong.

“Why are your hands shaking like that, don’t tell me the almighty Mason Delgado is scared to carry his child” Hudson began laughing while Jacob hit him.

“Relax and straighten your shoulders” Kiara held his shoulders and tried making them straight.

“What if he falls?” Mason asked with a nervous face, he looked like he was already sweating.

“He can’t, will you let your son fall?” Kiara laughed a little.

The boy suddenly started crying and Mason began panicking.

“What do I do, he’s crying!!”

Everyone in the room was laughing already, Kiara sighed collected the boy from him, and handed him to Skyler.

“He’s just hungry and while his mummy is giving him food, you should carry your daughter,” she said and Edna came with the baby girl.

She stretched her to him and he slowly carried the girl from Edna.

“Relax cuz, she’s not going to eat your hands, just feel free” Edna tried her best not to laugh at the way Mason was carrying his daughter.

In a few minutes, Mason was already relaxed. He sat on the small stole with his daughter while looking at his son sucking his mom’s breast milk.

“I believe it’s time to name the kids,” Ivy said and Jacob, Hudson, Alvin, Sunny, and Blake who were sitting behind them stood up and moved forward.

“Beautiful, do you have any name for them?” Mason asked.

“They are so cute, I already have names, my little boy’s name will be Bun and Girl Bunny,” she said and Mason faced the old man.

“Grandpa do you have any name for them, I haven’t for once thought of what to name my kids” he muttered and he wasn’t approving of his kids’ names being Bun and Bunny.

Grandpa Mario stared at Kiara and was about to say something when Ivy interrupted.

“I know this isn’t my business or anything but I was thinking it would be cute if you named the twins after Mason and Skyler’s initials and since Skyler’s late father was Chinese, we can also leave a Chinese name for them” Ivy shrugged when she spoke.

“As much as I hate Ivy, I agree with her,” Edna said and Mason turned back to see everyone nodding their head.

“Okay, how about Maxwell and Scarlett for their English names?” Grandpa Mario’s suggestions.

“Sounds perfect” Mason and Skyler nodded in agreement.

Mason first cleared his throat. He hasn’t even called Maya’s mom to talk more of another woman.

“Mom, you can help give them a Chinese name,” Mason said in such a rush and Skyler only smiled at him.

“How about Xiaobo for the boy meaning little wrestler and Zixin for the girl meaning self-confidence” Kiara suggested.

“Sounds great, do you hear that little one, your Chinese name is Xiaobo, and your English name is Maxwell, coming after your papa’s initial” Skyler said cutely to the little boy but he was too busy with his food to react.

“So when do we get to announce it publicly so I can put that little b.. that little Hailey and her mother in their place?” Ivy asked with a face that showed she was ready to fight.

“Hailey and Agnes will get what they deserve soon” Mason muttered.

“What about mom, she’s getting out of jail soon, will you not let her see her grandkids?” Ivy asked and everyone kept quiet.

Skyler slowly studied Mason’s face, he was acting like no one spoke.

“Why should we let her see the babies she wanted to kill” Rosa rolled her eyes and Kiara stood up.

“What? What did I just hear?” She asked.

“It’s a long story, she’s getting what she deserves now so you shouldn’t bother Mom,” Skyler said slowly.

“But you told me everything was fine and no one was giving you a hard time here” Kiara gave Skyler a look full of shock.

“It’s nothing aunt, Maya might not like Skyler but she didn’t dare touch her in my presence, thou she did a few things she’s getting what she deserves now” Mason added and Skyler nodded.

The family began talking about other things while they were all chitchatting. One person among them fist clenched tightly.
