“Two cups of cappuccino, low sugar” The waitress placed the tray of two hot coffees on the table where Edna and Zach were sitting.

“Thank you” Zach smiled at the waitress and Edna could swear that she saw the waitress blush.

She scoffed and stared at her coffee with the spoon.

“You should limit the way you smile at girls, if you keep doing that then all the girls might fall for you” she rolled her eyes.

Zach smiled and leaned closer to her.

“Including you?” He asked with a smirk.

“You wish” She rolled her eyes and he chuckled to himself before taking a sip of his cappuccino.

“You invited me over for coffee this morning, what do you want?” He gave her an intense look afterward.

“Why did you assume I wanted something?” Edna narrowed her eyes.

“Because you’re a narcissist and that’s what narcissists do” he replied earning a gasp from her.

“Take it back!” She pointed her spoon at him but he kept looking at her which made her sigh.

“Fine, do you have a girlfriend?” She asked.

“Why? Are you single?” He showed his playful smirk again.

“Be serious for once” Edna rubbed her forehead.

“I broke up with my girl last week so I’m single,” he said and she smiled.

“What are you planning this time?” He gave her a suspicious look.

“I want you to hit on a girl, make her fall in love with you then break her heart”

Zach stared at Edna for a while before bursting out into laughter.

“What’s funny?” She frowned.

“You! How can you ask me to do that, there’s no way in hell I’m agreeing” he rolled his eyes and took his coffee again.

“Please Zach, can you not just help me?” Edna pouted.

“I’ve helped you countless times but this is toying with someone’s emotions, no girl” he shook his head.

“She deserves it, Zach!” Edna argued.

“Who? By the way?” He asked.

“Regina Wilson” Edna replied and Zach scoffed, he was about to protest when Edna’s phone began ringing.

She sighed and picked up the call.

“Yes Zita, okay I’m on my way” she sighed and hung up before standing up.

“Zach I’m in a rush, please pay for the coffee, we’ll talk later” She didn’t wait for his reply or reaction before she rushed off.

Zach sighed sadly, he dipped his hands in his pocket and brought out a picture of the both of them when they were in high school.

He caressed her side of the picture with a sad look.

“How long am I supposed to wait before you give me a chance?” he muttered to himself.

“All right that’s all for today, I’ll see you guys tomorrow by 7 am sharp” Miss Elizabeth smiled at the students before she took her books and walked away.

People began leaving.

“This class was fun, do you want us to walk to the bus station today or is your husband picking you up?” Cynthia asked Skyler who was playing with her gun.

“Oh I’d love for my husband to pick me up but he has a tight schedule today but a ride is picking me up, I can tell my driver to drop you off” Skyler smiled at her.

“Works for me” Cynthia smiled and began packing her things in her bag pack.

While they were talking, Jasper was stylishly listening.

‘So she’s married or is she lying’ he thought to himself.

“Done, let’s go” Cynthia showed Skyler her backpack and they began leaving but Lilian purposely pushed past Skyler with her shoulders.

“Excuse me? Do you have a personal problem with me?” Skyler angrily crossed her arms around her chest.

“Yeah excuse you!” She turned back to give Skyler a crybaby face before leaving.

Skyler and Cynthia both rolled their eyes and went outside. Trent was leaning in his car and waiting.

“Good evening ma’am” he greets.

“Gosh, it’s Skyler” Skyler rubbed her forehead tiredly, she was tired of constantly reminding him to call her by her name. She went in and Cynthia followed behind.

As the car was moving, Cynthia kept admiring it everywhere. She even touched the tinted glass window.

“Skyler, you’re rich, why are you even here?” She asked with surprise in her eyes.

“All these are my husbands, I decided to come here and build myself and he’s supporting me” Skyler replied with a shrug.

Cynthia just chuckled and smiled at her.

Skyler nodded and looked out of the window with a worried face as she remembered what Rosa said earlier.

What if she wins? How can she believe she did it? If people find out she was married to Mason then who would believe her?

“Skyler, are you okay?” Cynthia asked and she immediately forced a nod and smile.

The young man beside him just released a breath before climbing the stairs and walking towards the direction of a room.

He opened the door and the view was sent to a young woman putting on a tattered dress and was covered in blood.

She felt someone’s presence in the room and she slowly turned to meet the person’s gaze. Tears came out of her eyes and she squeezed the duvet tight.

“Darling, I missed you, do you miss me?” The man smiled and began taking off his belt.

“One day… you will be exposed to everyone.. to everyone you have-

She couldn’t complete her statement when he whipped her with the iron part of the belt

“!!” She screamed in pain and he whipped her again and again and again.

“You’ve been talking too much, how I missed hearing you scream!!” He said amidst hysterical laughter as he continued whipping her.

Her agonizing scream filled the room.
