She had two sandwiches for breakfast. She was going to give one to Yanis instead of Kennedy.

Alice, with a smile on her face, stepped on her high heels to get out of the elevator, but she was

stunned when she saw the person outside.

It was Kennedy gnashing for air at the door.

He stepped into the elevator and clasped her wrist. “Are you all right?” he asked anxiously.

Alice, “... What, what is going on?”

Kennedy narrowed his eyes, looked at her from head to toe. After making sure she was safe, he pulled

her out of the elevator.

“What's the matter?” Alice didn’t understand why he was so nervous and did not expect to meet him

“You bought me breakfast? What did you buy?”

bag to her, “I bought it at random.”

She reached out to take it and when she opened it, she smelt the food inside.

It was freshly warmed milk and an egg roll. After looking at it for a moment, she looked up blankly. “You

just bought one?”

“It is for you.” Kennedy answered and then reached to Alice’s key, “Let’s go.”

Alice was unexpected and followed him with confusion, “Where to?”

“Don't you get up so early to go to the office? I'll send you there.”

Alice was stunned. He knew she was to go to company, so he bought breakfast for her? She looked at

the milk and egg rolls and then followed him to the parking lot.

After getting in the car, Alice silently fastened the seat belt.

After the car drove out of the community, Kennedy spoke when he controlled the steering wheel, “The

milk is hot, drink it. Don't be in a daze, soon you will be in the company.”

Alice knew it was hot because she was holding it.

Later, she looked up.

“Just one breakfast?”

Kennedy, “Yes.”

“Have you eaten?” Alice could not help but ask.

Kennedy paused and then nodded, “Yes.”

Alice felt strange, narrowing eyes, looked up at Kennedy.

He had always answered without hesitation before, but when she asked him if he had breakfast, he

hesitated for a moment before nodding.

“You got up early to buy me breakfast?”

“Yes.”

“So how could you have had breakfast?” Alice asked.
