Marry Me Twice (Kennedy and Charlotte)

Chapter 593 You Know Pain?

Chapter 593 You Know Pain?

“You're going home now? I'll send you back.” Manfred paid the bill, followed her out of the cafe, and

took out the car keys.

Alice shook her head, “No, I have things to do. I am not going home.”

“What is it? Can I give you a ride? I have nothing to do this weekend anyway.”

Alice frowned, “No need.”

Manfred looked at her and smiled. “Have you not yet forgiven me for rejecting me so?”

Alice said with embarrassment, “Mr. Manfred, it is not like that. I still have things to deal with, you don’t

need to give me a ride.”

“Mr. Manfred?” Manfred was discouraged, “it seems that you are really only regard me as a cooperative

relationship.”

Alice, “...”

“It doesn't matter, anyway, we will meet a lot, I hope you can accept me gradually. If you don't want me

to give you a ride today, I won't force you.”

With that, Manfred patted her on the shoulder and said with a smile, “Be careful on the road. You can

call me if you need anything.”

After two people said goodbye, Alice called the taxi to the supermarket near her community. Before she

walked into the supermarket, she took a look at her phone. Seeing that Kennedy did not send her a

message, she was relieved. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

He must have been exhausted recently. He must be sleeping at this moment.

She bought some ingredients. Thinking of what Kennedy did for her, she got some ingredients for

Kennedy.

Alice could not help but smiling.

He'd been so tired lately.

After paying the bill, Alice walked out of the supermarket carrying bags and then walked back to the

community. She got into the elevator and then pulled out her phone to text Kennedy.

{Have you woken up yet?}

Because it was in the elevator, there was no signal, and the message would be automatically sent out

after she got out of the elevator, so Alice sent the message and stuffed the phone back into her pocket.

Then she looked up at the key and saw that she was almost there. She took a deep breath and waited

for the elevator door to open, and then walked out with her bag.

As she had just stepped out of the elevator, she received a message.

As she was to see if Kennedy texted her, she saw a a slender figure through the corner of her eyes.

Alice paused and looked at the man.

The man leaned against the wall holding his phone in one hand. He happened to read the message

she had sent him with a gloomy face.

Alice looked at him for three seconds, and then opened her mouth.

“You are up.”

Kennedy did not answer, with his thin lips tightly pressed, and his eyes cold.

“Come for lunch. I've got some ingredients downstairs.” Alice input the password with guilty and then

opened the door.

Turning round, she found Kennedy still standing, motionless, and said, “Come in.”

It must have been three seconds before Kennedy came forward, but his face was still cold and his dark

breath came over her.

Seeing that he got in, Alice wrinkled eyebrow and closed the door, thinking there was something wrong.

Kennedy looked angry, was it because she went out before she told him? Thinking of that, she turned

to take a look at Kennedy's back.

“Well...... I'm sorry, I didn't mean not to tell you I was out, it's just... You've been so tired with me lately

that I thought you wanted to get some sleep, so I went out on my own.”

With that, Alice was still afraid he still was worried, so she waved the bags toward him.

“I was only out for a short time, and I'm safe here now. You needn't worry about me.”

Kennedy stood there and ignored her, his breath was terrible.

She continued to say several words, but he did not respond. Alice felt strange...... Was he so mad

because she was out?

Thinking of this, Alice could not help wrinkling her nose. Looking at his back, she carefully asked,

“What's wrong with you?”

It made him angry. He turned round and looked at her angrily.

The look in his eyes was ferocious, like he was about to eat her.

Alice was startled, subconsciously took back two steps.

She was really frightened, so her face paled a little.

But when this action was made, the expression of Kennedy became even more ghastly.

He walked slowly forward, as if there was a black air hanging over him, which made her want to

escape.

So Alice unconsciously stepped back, still carrying the ingredients she had just purchased from the

supermarket, while trembling, “You... What's wrong?”

Bang!

She had no way back after a few steps, with her back against the cold door.

Alice turned to look behind, and when she looked back, Kennedy had stood in front her.

She frowned. “Because I went out and didn't tell you? I didn't mean to, I just explained. I just wanted

you to sleep a little longer, that's why...”

Explaining, Alice suddenly stopped.

No!

Kennedy’s mood and eyes were different.

His eyes were wild as a beast, as if he wanted to tear her apart, as if she had done something terribly

wrong.

But...... Why would he look at her like that? She had just gone shopping.

Alice could not help swallowing. Did he know what she was doing out?

But along the way she did not receive Kennedy’s message, he should be sleeping.

Thinking of that, Alice reached out her hand, carefully prodded Kennedy on his chest, and begged in a

low voice, “I, I have to cook... Ah!”

Before she could finish her words, Kennedy reached out and clasped her wrist with such force that he

almost crushed it. Alice cried out in pain, “What are you doing? Let go of me.”

Kennedy not only did not let go, but clenched her hand more tightly.

“It hurts!” Alice accused, wanting to get rid of him.

Kennedy came forward to press her on the hard door, said in a voice as cold as ice, “You still know

pain?”

Alice wrinkled her eyebrow, “Nonsense, how can I......”

Kennedy sneered, “I think you are a heartless woman, how can you know pain?”
