Mid-Thirties Slightly Hot Mess Female Seeking Billionaire (Single and Sassy in the city Book 2)

Mid-Thirties Slightly Hot Mess Female Seeking Billionaire: Chapter 18

Ethan

‘Ethan, I am going to go into the shower now.’ Sarah gives me a sweet little smile as she stands there naked and unashamed. I try not to devour her body with my eyes, but all I want to do is step forward, grab a hold of her and carry her into the shower so that we can make mad passionate love in the shower. I can’t seem to get enough of her and I’m pretty certain that she’s been mesmerized by my body as well.

‘Okay,’ I say, with a knowing look. My eyes are on her still and I can’t seem to look away. ‘Are you sure you don’t want me to join?’

‘I’m good. Thank you very much.’ She giggles and the sound delights me.

‘But I can do your back for you.’ I pause. “I can go hard and deep.” I’m growing as I listen to my own words. I really hope she takes me up on my offer.

‘It’s okay. I have a long scrubber at home, so I’m able to reach my back.’ She shakes her head and disappointment fills me. Darn. ‘Didn’t you say you were going to order some Chinese food or something?’

‘Yeah. You’re hungry, huh?’ I want to add “for some of my big cock,” to my sentence but I outgrew teenage humor in my early twenties.

‘I’m starved. Hello.’ She nods enthusiastically. ‘I could eat a horse right now or two or two horses and a cow.’

‘So I’m taking it that you’re just a little bit hungry then.’

‘Very funny.’ She smiles.

‘So what would you like?’ I ask her as I pull out my phone. ‘There’s a Chinese restaurant that I always order takeout from and the food is always delicious, but I don’t know if we have the same taste.’

‘I’m kind of basic.’ She says wrinkling her nose.

‘I find it hard to believe that you’re basic about anything, Sarah.’ I look over at her breasts and lick my lips. ‘Very hard to believe that.’

‘Very funny.’ She shrugs. ‘I would like sweet and sour pork.’

‘Okay.’ I add that to the cart.

‘Crab Rangoon.’

‘Crab Rangoon, eh?’ I grin at her.

‘What? You don’t like Crab Rangoon?’

‘I love Crab Rangoon,’ I say. ‘Anything else?’

‘Ooh. How’s about General Tso’s chicken?’ My lips tremble slightly.

‘What?’ I say as she pinches me in the shoulder. ‘You gave me a look.’

‘What look did I give you?’

‘Like I was a basic bitch ordering the most basic food ever.’

‘I would never give you such a look, darling. Anything else?’

‘Yeah, vegetable, Lo Mein, vegetable fried rice, maybe some egg rolls, pork and vegetables.’

My eyes widen as she continues. ‘So you weren’t joking about being hungry.’

‘I do not joke about food. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that.’ She giggles. ‘I can eat.’

‘I’m glad,’ I say. ‘I can eat as well. And I like hanging out with women that don’t make me feel like pigs.’

‘You’re going to think I am a pig by the time we’re done.’ She laughs and the sound reminds me slightly of a piglet, but I don’t say anything as I’m not sure if she will consider that a compliment. Even though I think the sound is endearing.

‘And feel free to add anything else that you want.’

‘Ooh,’ she says quickly, ‘if they have any egg tough custards, tarts, or anything like that, or fried dough, like doughnuts.’

‘Oh, I’ve never even heard of such a thing.’

‘Sometimes some Chinese restaurants have it for dessert.’ She says. ‘I love sweet stuff, but if they don’t, it’s fine.’

‘I can order from somewhere else as well if you want. We could get some cupcakes or …’

‘No, then you’d have to pay two delivery fees and I don’t want you wasting your money.’

‘I think I’ve got an extra couple of bucks I can spare to get you something sweet.’

‘Okay, well if you don’t mind.’

‘Sarah, I offered. Trust me, I don’t mind.’

‘Then salted caramel cheesecake.’ She licks her lips.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

‘Oh my gosh, I love salted caramel cheesecake. Coming up. I’ll find a place.’

‘Okay, go in the shower now.’ I tap her bare ass and she giggles as she walks into the bathroom. I walk into the corridor and head towards the kitchen. I’m smiling as I grab some plates and put them on the counter in preparation for when our food arrives. I decide to head over to my iPad that’s connected to the speakers in the living room and search for Noah Kahan on YouTube so I can listen to one of his songs. Immediately he pops up and I stare at him. ‘So you’re the guy that’s got Sarah in a tingle,’ I mutter out loud as I press play on the first song that pops up in the list. My speakers click into action and I hear the strumming of a guitar before he starts singing, ‘Love Vermont,’ he says, And continues crooning.’ I blink as he continues singing. He does have a nice voice. I can see why she likes him.

I wonder if she wishes she could sing with him. The thought annoys me slightly, but I dismiss the twitch in my heart. I can see why she might want to perform with him. They would have an amazing duet if they were ever to link up. They have a very similar vibe and sound going, and I know that if they were to produce something, it would be even more magical.

I take a seat on the couch and look out at the skyline of the city. The sky is dark now but the city is filled with twinkling lights. There are people in their living rooms and kitchens puttering around their houses. My phone rings and I answer it. It’s Jackson.

‘Hey, what’s up?’ I say as if I haven’t just spoken to him a few hours ago. There’s a happy tone to my voice and I wonder if he notices.

‘Yo Ethan, what are you doing for dinner, man?’

‘Chinese, I think. Why?’

‘Cool. Shall I meet you there? Which restaurant?’

‘Oh no, I am getting a delivery.’ I hope he doesn’t ask too many questions.

‘Okay, I guess I can come over to your place. In like 30 minutes? Does that work?’

‘No,’ I say quickly, frowning slightly. ‘I have someone here.’

‘You have someone there?’ He sounds surprised. ‘What do you mean, like your parents or something? Your grandparents?’

‘No, not my parents, not my grandparents. A lady.’

‘What the …’ He sounds shocked and his voice is loud. ‘You have a lady in your apartment?’

‘Yes. What’s the big deal?’

‘You never have ladies in your apartment. Is there a full moon tonight?’

‘What are you talking about? I’m always with women.’

‘Number one, you’re not always with women, and number two, you never take them back to your place.’

‘That’s not true. I’ve had women at my place.’

‘I’m not talking about housekeepers or cleaning women or chefs, I’m talking about women you’re fucking.’ He chortles. “And I assume the woman you’re sharing Chinese food with is someone you’re fucking.”

I press my lips together. Technically he was right, but I don’t want to think about that. It doesn’t mean anything. Sure, maybe the women I’ve hooked up with in the past have not been in my home, but they’ve certainly been to hotel rooms with me, very nice hotel rooms.

I try not to compare the fact that Sarah is here in my private space. About to have a shower in my bathroom. I do not want to think about what that means. ‘Look, it wasn’t actually meant to be a hookup.’ I say quickly trying to reason it out to myself. ‘She came over here to do some work and it just kind of happened.’

‘Who came over there to do some work?’ He sounds confused and I don’t respond. ‘Oh shit, Ethan. It’s not Edith, is it?’ he shouts and I try not to laugh.

‘What the fuck, Jackson?’ I respond cringing inside that he thinks for even one second that Edith might even be here. ‘Are you out of your mind? Do you really think I would sleep with Edith?’ There is silence on the other end and I’m about to curse him out when he finally responds.

‘No, I guess not.’ There’s a hint of amusement in his tone and I know he’s been yanking my chain. ‘So then who? Wait. No, it can’t be who I think it is. Sly dog you.’

‘What are you talking about, Jackson?’

‘Did you fuck that hot girl from copywriting?’

I press my lips together. ‘I didn’t fuck anyone.’ Technically I did, but it doesn’t feel right describing what I did with Sarah as fucking.

‘Did you bang nerdy Sarah from copywriting?’

‘Her name is not nerdy Sarah and we may or may not have had a romantic entanglement.’

‘Whoa you totally banged the shit out of her.” He laughs as I frown and try not to think about the sound of her wet pussy as I slammed into her deep and hard. “I guess the no fraternization policy at Rosser International is not important, anymore, huh?’

‘Really, Jackson?’

‘What? You’re the one that told me I couldn’t bang Angie in accounting. You’re the one that told me that I couldn’t bang Alice in the marketing department. You’re the one that told me I couldn’t have a threesome with Jenny and Louisa from the-‘

I cut him off. ‘Really, Jackson?’

‘What? I’m just saying, why is it one rule for you and one rule for the rest of us? I mean, I know that you’re the CEO, but dude, I thought that we didn’t sleep together because that was the plan. We ended up messing around because-‘

‘Wait a second,’ he cuts me off. ‘You ordered Chinese food?’

‘Yeah, I just told you that.’

‘For you and Sarah from copywriting?’

‘You could just call her Sarah or Ms. Kahan.’

‘But you never order takeout for dates, not even in hotels. You say you don’t want there to be an expectation of cuddling or-‘

‘We’re not cuddling. I am in the living room waiting for the takeaway to come and she’s in the bathroom, showering.’

‘Showering?’

He pauses for a couple of seconds. ‘You banged the daylight out of her, didn’t you?’

‘No, I … Anyways, what is that supposed to mean?’

‘I mean, what woman showers at a guy’s place unless her body is stained with cum or-‘

‘Really?’ I say angrily. ‘That sounds absolutely-‘

‘What? It sounds like the truth.’

‘No, it’s not the truth.’ I cut him off. I’m annoyed and I know I shouldn’t be. ‘Look, I don’t really want to talk about this with you, Jackson. It’s just not appropriate. Sarah’s a good girl and-‘

‘She’s a good girl now?” He bursts out laughing. “Are we talking about the same woman that posted on our company intranet that she was looking for a billionaire?” He pauses. “I guess it worked huh? Apparently she got herself one.’

‘She didn’t get herself anything. She knows the rules.’

‘So you told her that there will be no more than five bang sessions?’

‘Yes.’ I snarl into the phone. ‘Not that it’s any of your business.’

‘I’m not saying it is my business. I just want to make sure that we’re all on the same page here.’

‘You don’t need to be on any page.’ I hear the sound of a door opening and lower my voice. The last thing I need is Sarah hearing this conversation. ‘Anyway, I got to go.’

‘Oh, has your darling Sarah decided to come out and bang you for the fifth time?’

‘Bye, Jackson.’ I hang up, annoyed. I’m not going to pay attention to what he’s just said. I take a couple of deep breaths and turn around to see Sarah walking down the corridor wrapped in a towel. Her hair is long and wet and she offers me a small impish smile that makes my heart tug. She really is cute and I don’t know that I like the fact that I’m noticing that.

‘Hey, I don’t suppose you have any conditioner, do you?’ She asks me softly and my heart flutters as she looks at me. She’s beautiful, really, really beautiful. I realize as I’m sitting there listening to her favorite artists waiting on Chinese food to arrive in my own home, that I love having her here. I love being around her. I love making love to her. I love talking to her. I love just being in her space and a part of me doesn’t want her to leave, which is not good. At all.

‘Oh yeah. I don’t use it that often, it’s most probably in the cupboard.’ I nod gruffly as I jump up. ‘Come on, I’ll get you some.’

‘Thanks.’ She says softly. ‘I didn’t mean to interrupt or get water on the floor, but I really need conditioner or my hair just frizzes up and-‘

‘It’s okay.’ I shrug and can’t resist giving her a quick kiss on the lips. ‘I’m sure your frizzy hair would still be beautiful. I don’t care.’

‘Thank you for those words, but my frizzy hair makes me look like a scarecrow,’ she says with a laugh as she surveys my face. I can see she’s surprised by my words, maybe even more surprised than I am. I wonder if I should go to the doctor because something is definitely not right in my head.
