“Here’s your salary,” she said with a good-natured smile. It was twenty thousand.

Camila hadn't worked here for very long, and she knew that her salary wasn’t that big. She took the money she deserved and left the rest with

Looking at the money Camila handed back to her, Elva knew that Camila was a good person. “If you need any help, just come to me. Ill do whatever | can.”

As soon as she settled things at the dance studio, Camila went straight to the Military Central Hospital. It was about nine o’clock when she arrived.

Debora took her straight to the director of their department.

The director was a middle-aged male doctor. He asked Camila to follow Debora around. After all, Debora had been here for a few days and knew the ropes, more or less.

Camila nodded obediently.

“When did you marry Isaac?”

Forcing a smile, Debora said deliberately, “It doesn’t matter. Isaac told me that you two aren’t married because you like each other...” The expression on Camila’s face remained calm.

She looked at Debora, seething at the thought that she and Isaac got along well.

Seeing that Camila had fallen silent, Debora knew that she had hit the nail on the head.
