Chapter 104 It Was All My Fault, Let’s Start Over

Riley looked at his deep stares, it was filled with tenderness, unfamiliar yet irresistible!

When she finally decided to end this meaningless marriage, he confessed his love to her!

She removed her hand from his, “Mr George, please stop the joke! I’m not a teenager and have way

past the age for these sweet words.”

Euan was a little angry but he remained calm. He knew there was a lot of misunderstanding between

them, “I am not joking, I am serious and vow to take responsibility for my words.”

Riley stared at his serious face for a while. “That won’t be necessary, Mr George can confess your love

to someone else. I don’t love you anymore! Don’t you get it?”

Euan didn’t know how to respond to her ridiculous excuse. He let loose of his hand and said with a

gentle tone, “Dr Riley, you are a smart woman, can’t you see I am trying so hard because I want to be

with you?”

His confession struck Riley’s heart like an invisible sword! She tried so hard to hold her tears back.

She shook herself off him. “Scars can never heal. Perhaps you, Mr George can easily forget, but I

don’t.”

“Let’s have a peaceful split, shall we?” she said weakly.

She had been thinking about divorce, but it was the meeting with Anika that had completely taken her

down, she had collapsed.

She couldn’t hold it anymore.

Riley lowered her head and cried, “Since when did Euan George become clingy? Furthermore, even if

“You should’ve known that I won’t leave easily when you invited me here.” She felt his warm breaths on

her hair and skin.

She couldn’t control her sadness, tears filled her eyes, “Alright if you won’t leave, I will!”

She was crazy! Crazy enough to had invited him over and cooked him dinner. She was delusional with

the thought that it would be a peaceful separation.

Riley walked out and slammed the door behind her!

Euan was left frozen alone in her home, he seemed extra lonely under the moonlight that shined

Riley, let me buy you drinks, it’s a tremendous boring life to be a doctor, I’m sure you need to loosen up

and relax, I promise I won’t tell Euan!”

Riley frowned, she did not like bars but she felt like having a few glasses tonight to numb the pain.

“It’s alright, I’m heading home, you go ahead and enjoy.”

“Come on, Riley, you are here once in a blue moon, come join us! I’ll go pick you up, it’s not far from

here. Five minutes, stay put!”
