Chapter 58 Dr. Watson Is Definitely Not Pretentious

After getting off the plane, Riley and the patients from several other departments of the hospital got on

a bus while carrying medical supplies. The bus drove though bumpy roads for a couple of hours, and it

was already nine o'clock at night when they reached the town.

When they got off the bus, Riley and the fellow doctors were dumbfounded.

“What kind of place is this?”

“It looks like the place Mao Zedong had been through when he fought in the guerilla warfare!”

The dirt road underneath their feet were rugged and uneven, the junction outside of the town only had

two dim street lamps. The saffron-colored lights were only able to light up a small, round area on the

ground. Those poor lights had not been taken care of for a long time.

“Damn, how can anyone live here? Is this place not yet liberated?"
