Chapter 47: CHAP 47 : THE HUNT

"Now" said Zion through hand signals. Nodding, Jax sprinted up ahead, having a fight with their foe

once more. Zion, having caught up, joined in the fight.

Darthon, seeing no way of stopping this fight, took out his knife and started jabbing his duo enemies. "If

you're going after her now, why didn't you go after her after I took her as my own?" Zion suddenly NôvelDrama.Org © content.

asked, the fight still on going.

"Well I wouldn't want you going on and suddenly losing another daughter right?" he chuckled, fighting

back. "This bastard" Jax growled. "And there" Darthon laughed, attempting to jab Jax, and suddenly

taking it back, suddenly jabbing towards Zion, catching him a bit off guard.

"Master!" his assistant went on with the fight, their enemy jabbing Jax again, and seeing his partner

arriving at the scene, took an opportunity to distract the duo. Zion, having noticed, looked back and

before he knew it, found him and Jax left alone with clouds of smoke bomb hovering all around them.

"Tsk, Jax. Retreat" Zion ordered, Jax nodding as the duo back down and flee at the scene, tired, bloody

and bruised.

"Master, shall we pause Fae from her missions for a while?" Jax asks, standing before his thinking

master sitting on his desk, now all patched up with bandages. "We'll just lessen the places she'll go.

She'll continue doing her missions" his master answered, turning around to face the wall.

"But sir, you know she's in danger now that Darthon is-". "Enough" he interrupted, Jax silencing mouth.

"Then I'll tell her your words, master. Please excuse me" he exclaims before excusing himself and

going out the office.

It was past 3 in the afternoon and breathes of relief were heard all around the office room. "Thank you

so much everyone, as an apology, you can the next two hours as your lunch break" the manager said

before taking the finished project and going out.

"I'm hungry, let's go eat late lunch" a co worker claimed, dragging her bummed out friend outside the

room to finally eat. "Fae, let's also go and... who is it?" Evalyn moves closer to her friend who's reading

a message on her phone. "Sir Jax said we should go back as soon as we finish working" her friend

uttered, Evalyn standing up stretching.

"Well for now let's eat, I'm hungry as heck" she exclaims, Fae standing up as the duo go outside to

finally have their late lunch they missed for hours.

-

Just as the duo were about to go back into their workplace, a certain someone was waiting at the front

door. "That's Liam Ghate's assistant right??" Evalyn whispered, her friend nodding in response.

"Miss Fae, if you don't mind. I'll be taking a bit of your time" the assistant clasped her hands together.

"Please, make coffee again" she pleaded, Evalyn raising a brow.

"What's with him and coffee?? Is coffee his lover of something??" Evalyn muttered. "Sure" Fae

responded. "Be careful" her friend states as Fae nods and goes away with the satisfied assistant.

-

"Is he throwing a fit again?" Fae asks, her nodding. Entering the elevator, she pressed the top floor.

"Please forgive me for interrupting your work" she sighed. "It's alright" Fae answered.

Minutes later, the elevator stopped. "Ding!" it alarmed as it automatically opened as the duo leave. Now

in front of the door, the assistant knocked.

"Sir, miss Fae is here" she states, opening the door after. "Miss Fae" she gestured, Fae entering as the

assistant closed the door behind her.

Without thinking twice, she went on and did her job. "Fae Vixil" he suddenly called out. "Yes sir?" she

turned around. "No, nothing" he shook his head, going back to his work.

Shrugging it off, she went back to mking coffee, stirring the spoon as the sugar she just put in melted

along the way. Finally done, she stood up as goes toward her boss, stopping in front of him and placing

the just made coffee on his desk, as he looks up.
