My Bossy CEO Husband

Chapter 2580

Pushing aside the flurry of questions, Rosalynn ducked and crawled through the hole.

Following her exit, Jamir and the bodyguard made their way out, one after the other.

They emerged outside the wall into a dense forest.

The night air was alive with the rustle of leaves, each gust of wind carrying a whisper of the forest’s secrets, casting eerie shadows that danced under the moonlight.

“Let’s go,” Jamir said, brushing the dirt from his clothes before taking the lead into the shadowy depths.

Sanford and the bodyguard, each supporting Brian, trailed behind Jamir.

Rosalynn cast a wary glance at the dark forest stretching before them.

She was tempted to ask Jamir how long it would take to traverse the dense woods and what lay on the other side, but she held back, knowing well that he might not respond.

Given his evident familiarity with the landscape, a part of her inexplicably trusted him, despite the mysteries that cloaked his intentions.

As they pressed on through the underbrush, about ten minutes passed and Rosalynn could hear Sanford’s and the bodyguard’s labored breathing behind her.

Brian, over six feet tall, was a substantial burden in his unconscious state.

The prolonged effort of carrying him was clearly taking its toll on Sanford and the bodyguard, their exhaustion palpable in the heavy air.

Catching up to Jamir, who marched relentlessly ahead, Rosalynn called out, “Jamir, let’s take a short break before we continue. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

The absence of gunfire suggested a momentary reprieve from danger, offering them a chance to catch their breath safely.

Jamir halted abruptly, casting a brief glance at Rosalynn, then nodded silently, indicating his agreement.

Sanford and the bodyguard promptly eased Brian down at the base of a large tree.

Exhausted, Sanford collapsed onto the forest floor, gasping for air.

Observing his fatigue, Rosalynn felt a mix of gratitude and guilt.

“Sanford, thank you for your perseverance,” she expressed sincerely.

Too weary to formulate a response, Sanford simply gestured with a dismissive wave of his hand.

With a gentle smile, Rosalynn seated herself beside Brian, carefully wiping the dirt from his face with her sleeve.

Moonlight streamed through the tree canopy above, casting a serene glow on Brian’s chiseled features.

Her voice soft and tender, Rosalynn whispered, “Honey, I’m here to take you home.

Relief washed over her-her husband was safe and sound.

She deftly unbuttoned Brian’s coat and retrieved a silver needle from her bracelet, expertly inserting it into key acupuncture points on his body.
