My Dominating Apollo

CLARISSA’S POV:-

I glanced at Apollo and saw him clenching his jaw, I placed my hand on his thigh. He glanced at me and I smiled trying to ease the tension. He blinked at me and I noticed a small smile appearing on his lips. I could feel everyone’s eyes on us but my attention was completely on him.

His electrifying blue eyes bored into mine, sending chills all over my body, I looked away before I lose my control and smiled at Mathew, who was smiling at us with adoration evident in his eyes.

“Clarissa, I’m happy to see you here,” he said with a genuine smile on his face,

“Let me introduce my family to you,” he said, turning towards the person beside him.

“My wife…” he said looking at His wife, who smiled at him with love and affection, “This… Is our 2nd born and…” he said looking at Jacob, “That’s our firstborn… ” he said looking at the person sitting beside Jacob dressed in a grey suit, “… Thomas,” he said.

Thomas smiled at him and turned his gaze on me, he had emerald eyes and an attractive face, “Nice meeting you, Miss Green,” he smiled.

I just smiled at him in return, “And… the 3rd born…” Mathew began but was cut off, “Is me!” Romulus said while walking towards us. Everyone’s attention turned to him, he slipped in the chair beside Sophia and kissed her on her cheek.

“Hello everyone,” he said looking at everyone,

“Hello son,” Mathew replied,

“Brother,” Thomas said beaming at him,

“Good to you see Thomas,” Romulus said grinning at him,

“And you too, Jacob,” Romulus said, looking at Jacob who just gave a tight smile to him and looked away.

I could sense some kind of tension between Jacob and Romulus, but I ignored and tried to focus on something other than this. Shortly the house cleaners began serving the dinner to us and we began digging in. Everyone was quiet and the growing tension made me a little uncomfortable but I didn’t let that show on my face.

“I missed this!” I heard Mathew say, I looked up at him and saw him grinning while looking at everyone.

“Missed me, Dad?” I heard a female and footsteps coming towards us, I turned and saw a woman dressed in a yellow dress which reached her thighs and paired it with high heels. She was tall and had brown shoulder-length short curly hair. She was beautiful and I couldn’t see Mathew’s features in her but I could sense her love for Mathew in her eyes.

She walked towards Mathew and kissed him on his cheek, “I missed you, Dear Juliette,” he said looking extremely happy to see her.

“I missed you more,” she replied while wrapping her hands around his neck and hugging him sideways.

“Sophie!” she said hugging her, Ms. Villin just smiled but didn’t return the gesture, which was strange, she walked straight to Apollo and slipped into a chair beside him. I noticed a smirk forming on Jacob’s face but I chose to ignore and glanced at Apollo. His face is as calm as ever, a blank expression.

“Hello everyone,” she said, flipping her plate and smiling at everyone.

“How are you Julie?” asked Thomas while having a bite of his dish.

“I’m fine and hope you’re fine too,” she smiled looking at him, he nodded in reply.

“How are you, Jacob?” she asked, glancing at Jacob.

“I’m good!” he replied while glancing at Apollo, “His actions are confusing me to no end.

“Hope you’re doing Good, Rome?” she asked looking at Romulus but he didn’t even look at her and flatly replied, “Yep!” there was something very strange happening here and It is very confusing. Their behaviours and looks the brothers are sharing and this woman, everything is very confusing.

I shouldn’t have come to this dinner.

“How are you, Apollo?” She asked with a very sweet voice and smile on her face. I had to look at her because of that, that sudden change in her voice and features made me suspicious of her.

“Fine,” he just replied without even acknowledging her.

I could see the sadness on her face which almost looked fake but I stayed quiet, “Hey, I’m so sorry I didn’t notice you there,” she said looking at me and giving a big smile.

“My name is Juliette Villin, and you are?” she asked and before I could reply Apollo turned his face to her, “She’s Clarissa, my woman!” he replied, I noticed the surprised look on her face while she stared at Apollo. He just turned his head and began having his dinner quietly, I was surprised at the tone he used and more surprised at her reaction. I could feel the changed atmosphere in here and glance at Romulus.

He gave me an I’ll-tell-you-everything-later look and began having his dinner quietly. Throughout the quiet and awkward dinner, I felt something strange, there was something very odd about this family and it made me very intrigued.

After dinner, Apollo grabbed my hand and stood up, “We should leave now,” he said, gaining everyone’s attention. I saw the sadness in Sophia’s face, she opened her mouth to say something but Mathew put his hand on her, “Thanks for joining us for the dinner, Son!” he said with a genuine smile on his face.

Apollo gave a nod and turned around, I followed him quietly.
