My Dominating Apollo

“Is it… is it…” I shuddered, I was shocked and words weren’t coming out of my mouth, my mind wasn’t taking the information in.

“Yes, what you’re thinking is right!” he replied,

“Wh.. what!” I whispered while biting my lower lip and placing my palm over my face,

“Don’t worry, Apollo ended it and he’s no more in touch with her,” he continued, but his words didn’t ease my doubts nor this feeling I had in my chest.

What is this feeling! Am I hurt? Or is it something else?

Sensing my silence Romulus spoke up, “Clarissa! You must talk to Apollo about that but… I have to warn you! This topic is a bit sensitive to him and he can get upset about it… you need to choose your words very carefully if you want to talk to him about Juliette,” he said and I could concern in his voice,

“Okay,” I replied and sighed deeply, I want to know this relationship he had with Juliette, I don’t know why? Is it my curiosity? Why do I feel like I have a right to know everything about Apollo? I feel kind of ownership of him and I think I shouldn’t feel like that? it’s wrong!

I think I should talk to someone about this or else my mind would explode.

I hung up on Romulus and began doing my work.

After working for hours without taking a break, I decided to talk with Lydia to ease the stress and have a cup of coffee with her. I stood up from my chair and stretched my body, I took my phone and dialled her number,

“Lydia, can you come to my office please,” I said as soon as she answered.

“Okay,” she replied.

I cut the call and placed it in my handbag while sitting down on the sofa, I think I have to ask what’s going on with her and Romulus! I have noticed the tension between them before. I know Romulus is a good guy, but Lydia is a heartbroken girl and I don’t want her to get hurt again.

The past relationship she had with Simon was a disaster, it broke her inside and out, I’m worried about her.

“Miss. Green,” I heard Lydia’s voice which made me look at her, she walked inside and stood in front of me.

“Let’s go for a coffee,” I said while standing up and taking my handbag with me.

“Coffee? Now?” she asked looking at her wristwatch,

“Yes,” I replied, smiling at her.

“But…” she opened her mouth though I cut her off,

“We’ve been working for hours now Lydia… Let’s take a break!” I spoke,

She sighed and nodded her head at me while walking out of the office, I followed her to her office. She stepped inside and took her handbag while I stood outside and waited for her. We reached a cafe and took a table in the corner, near the window. As the waiter walked to us, she ordered coffee for us.

“So… how is everything going on between you and Apollo?” she asked with great curiosity evident in her eyes,

I sighed before answering her, “Good!” I leaned back on the chair.

“Is everything alright?” she asked with concern in her voice,

“I don’t know! I don’t understand my feelings for him, I’m confused,” I replied,

“Tell me,” she said reaching my hands and squeezing them,

I took a deep breath before telling her about everything that happened between us, my feelings for him and the confusions, also about Juliette. She was shocked when I said about what Romulus told me,

“I can’t believe this,” she said while widening her eyes,

“Romulus was right! You need to talk to Apollo and I advise you to tell him what you feel about him… you’re in love, Clarissa,” she said and when the last part entered my mind, I widened my eyes at her.This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Love! What the hell? How can I love him? No? I shook my head, “No, I’m not in love with him.” I said but mostly to myself.

“Trust me, Clarissa, your rule to not fall in love was finally broken, you are in love,” She said squeezing my hands with a genuine smile on her face.

I gulped hard, his electrifying blue eyes flashed in front of my eyes, “Clarissa…” His whisper rang in my ears sending chills to my body. Everything happened between us flashed in front of my eyes and the first time when I saw him at the police station, I was attracted to him but I didn’t realise it then.

After we walked to the office, I couldn’t concentrate on my work. All I think was about him and what Lydia said to me.

It made me smile, and his face began flashing in front of my eyes. His smile, the way he walks, talked, and looks at me, was flashing in front of my eyes which made me smile and blush as well.

After work, I reached home and took a shower. I changed into comfortable clothes and waited for Apollo. I don’t know how I will face him after knowing I love him. I don’t know if he feels the same… I mean he’s into BDSM and I don’t know! I don’t know how many submissive he had before but the thought of it was confusing me and upsetting me.
