Skylar looked at the message, feeling like she was dreaming.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
At that moment, Gloria woke up and yawned. Noticing Skylar smiling at her phone, she couldn't help but chuckle and ask, "Why are you so happy?" "Joe asked me to meet him tomorrow," Skylar replied immediately.
Gloria's eyes lit up. "He must be starting to remember something. Otherwise, he wouldn't be so proactive. Tomorrow, let's make you look beautiful so that he realizes what he's been missing these past three years!"
There was no way that Rosa could compare to Skylar Skylar was wonderful in every way.
"Of course! Mrs. Martin can turn heads with just a little makeup. Let her captivate Mr. Martin!" Veronica chimed in.
Skylar smiled and nodded, following along with the two. "Alright, I'll do as you suggest."
This was the first time in a while that Joe had initiated a meeting with her, and she was looking forward to it.
In the downtown hotel in Jipsburg, inside a presidential suite, Stephen emerged from the bathroom after a shower. A woman was drying her hair in there.
As he listened to the hairdryer's sound, he looked around the suite, weighing things in his mind. He had recently become aware of his own appeal and of what he could gain from it.
Although he hadn't progressed much with Simona, he wasn't giving up on her yet. But...
He glanced toward the bathroom.
The woman, Albie Lynd, was three years older than him, more mature and charming than Simona, and wasn't fussy. They had only known each other for a couple of days and were already at a hotel together.
But he was cautious, knowing he might just be a temporary amusement for her. So, he still needed to keep things steady with Simona.
Just as he was lost in thought, Albie walked out of the bathroom. Seeing her walk out naked, his eyes widened in surprise.
He instinctively moved toward her and said, "You're stunning."
At the university, Simona stood outside the classroom, waiting for Stephen. She knew his schedule well, so she hadn't told him she was coming. But after most of the students had already left, she still hadn't seen him. So, she stopped a classmate and asked, "Excuse me, is Stephen still in class?"
"Stephen? Didn't he take a leave of absence today?" the classmate replied.
Simona was surprised. Leave of absence?
Stephen never took time off. They'd just seen each other yesterday, but he hadn't mentioned anything about today. Could he be sick?
She immediately called him, but no one answered. Finally, she called his roommate, who told her that Stephen hadn't been in the dorm all day. "He's not on campus and skipping class? What could he be doing?" Simona wondered, confused.
Half an hour later, Stephen called back. "Simona, is something up?d was busy just now and didn't hear my phone." His voice was hushed as if he were in a very quiet place.
Simona paused and then asked, "You didn't go to class today, did you? And you're not in the dorm too."
Stephen was silent for a few
seconds before answering, "My
second elder sister came into town and had some issues, so I took a day off. Sorry, I didn't tell you beforehand."
"What? Your sister's in trouble? What happened? Can you handle it by yourself? If you need help, I can come over now," Simona responded anxiously.

Just a moment ago, she had been wondering what he might be doing and if he was seeing another woman behind her back. After all, plenty of women in the university liked him.
