My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Chapter 1473

Stephen knew women like her all too well-hypocrites. And Skylar was full of nothing but hypocrisy.

"You should have a few minutes to spare, right, Ms. Sullivan? Simona has always spoken highly of you. I thought the same when we met last time," Stephen said, his words laced with subtle implication.

Skylar's gaze turned cold, her voice distant as she replied, "I don't have time. Move aside."

She had no patience for someone like Stephen. Using negative items to manipulate Simona's thoughts and control her mind was despicable. His dirty tricks were revolting.

She couldn't bring herself to say another word to him.

Stephen would soon pay the price for everything he had done. Once again, he was rejected, and his expression darkened immediately.

"So you look down on me, don't you? You think I'm just some poor student?" he asked, gritting his teeth with resentment.

On the surface, it seemed that Skylar didn't care about a person's background or upbringing, but deep down, she was disgusted by people like him— ordinary people from rural backgrounds.

A woman like her, so hypocritical, would surely meet a bad end. Stephen would make sure to win her over.

Skylar furrowed her brow and scrutinized Stephen.

Suddenly, it dawned on her why he had so easily deceived Simona. With Stephen's ability to put on a façade, it was no surprise that a young woman like Simona had fallen for his tricks.

He reminded her of Christopher. Like him, Stephen wore a charming, unassuming face and used sweet words to deceive young, naïve women. His tactics were classic manipulation-something no young woman, fresh to the world, could defend herself against.

"Isn't it true that your past has been all over the inte for months? I believe you've dropped out of school by now, haven't you?" Skylar asked, a sarcastic smile tugging at her lips.

Stephen's expression shifted instantly, a look of guilt crossing his face. "Those things online about me... they're all fabrications, part of someone's deliberate smear campaign. You can't believe them; don't trust anything you read."

Skylar's voice turned harsh. "I saw it with my own eyes. And as for the money you scammed from Rosa, you've almost gotten all of it, haven't you?" Stephen's eyes widened in shock, his expression filled with fury. "Y-You!"

"Get lost!" Skylar snapped sharply.novelbin

Stephen jumped in surprise, his

nerves getting the best of him. He hurriedly pushed his bicycle onto the sidewalk, watching helplessly a's Skylar's car drove off right before him.

His head was spinning. It took him a long time to collect his thoughts.

"How did she know? She said she saw it with her own eyes. Saw me with who?"

His mind raced back to when he and Rosa had been involved in intimate moments out on the streets and Rosa's occasional appearances in trending news because of her

connection with Joe.

Normally, people wouldn't pay attention to such news-it was none of their business after all.

Just then, his phone rang. It was Rosa.

He frowned, reluctant to answer it. He had already swindled quite a bit of money from Rosa, but lately, he had been gambling and losing almost everything.

He had originally thought Rosa was well-off, someone he could easily manipulate, but she didn't have much money at all. Her wealth paled in comparison to the Parkinson family's.

But right now, he couldn't afford to burn any bridges, so he answered the phone. "Rosa."

"Where are you? Come to me. I'm feeling terrible right now. You don't know how awful Skylar Sullivan is. Why does Joe care so much about her? "He even married her and made it public-everyone knows he's married to her! And what about me? What am I to him now?

"He's made a joke out of me! But

you, Stephen, you've always been

there for me, even when I was at my

lowest, and we can even start a business together. Come be with me, Stephen."

Rosa's voice carried a desperate tone, but Stephen only focused on one name in her rant.

"Skylar Sullivan? Who is she?" he asked, his voice tense.
