My Hidden Marriage With The President

Chapter 7 One or the Other

“Well, if you want to repay me, please let me go to the audition. It is really important to me!” Eva managed a smile.

“One or the other.”Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

“What do you mean?” Eva was confused.

Nathan explained, “Caleb means you can choose to either marry him or be given a company.”

“Then I choose the company,” Eva answered immediately.

“Why don’t you choose to marry Caleb? He is a super eligible bachelor. ” Nathan was puzzled.

Eva pouted and couldn’t help blurting out, “Isn’t he gay? He is so anxious to find a woman to marry because he needs a sham marriage, right?”

As soon as Eva finished speaking, the ward fell silent.

Caleb’s face fell, and the mood around was subdued. Obviously, he was trying his best not to throw a fit.

“Forgive me. I’m talking nonsense. I should go for an audition.” Eva subconsciously wanted to escape. Even though she had fought with many people, she didn’t dare to go against Caleb.

Caleb raised his hand and grabbed Eva before she could leave. “Wait a minute.”

“What do you want to do?” Eva was a little scared, wondering whether he wanted to kill her.

“He wants you to leave a note for Liam.”

Nathan explained again. Hearing this, Eva nodded, hurriedly wrote a sentence on the paper, and left in a hurry.

“Caleb, are you serious?” Nathan asked after Eva walked away.

“Shut up. Let’s go back.” Caleb glanced up at Nathan with cold eyes.

Nathan’s hair stood up and he closed his mouth obediently.

Eva rushed all the way, and finally arrived at the audition site one minute before it ended.

“Miss, you are late, and the audition is over,” one of the staff said politely and wanted to drive Eva away.

“Just give me a minute to talk with the director, please!”

Eva tried to break in but was always stopped by the man at the door. An idea struck Eva, and then she shouted, “Nice to meet you, Director Pommer!”

As expected, the man turned to look. Eva rushed in at once and entered the audition room.

“Who are you?” Ethan Janni, who was the producer of ‘Rose in the Wind’, was talking with the director about the actresses who had just auditioned. He was surprised at Eva’s breaking in.

Eva explained apologetically, “Nice to meet you. I’m Eva Sommers. I’m here for the audition.”

“The audition is over. Get out of here!” The bearded man sitting in the middle impatiently said.

This man was Mel Pommer, the director of ‘Rose in the Wind’. He became famous at a young age. Every film he made was a hit, and he made countless actors and actresses popular. ‘Rose in the Wind’ was a big production, so countless people spared no effort to be a member of this cast. Even the chance to be a cameo would matter in one’s future career.

“Director Pommer, I’m not here for the heroine.” Eva didn’t leave but said determinedly.

Eva had learned a lot about ‘Rose in the Wind’. She got the news that Mel had just dismissed the second female lead appointed by the investor, so Eva was coming for this character.

“If not, what are you doing here now? The audition for the supporting roles began two hours later,” Ethan explained with a smile.

“As far as I know, the second female lead has not been decided.” After Eva finished speaking, she deliberately paused and looked around everyone. In a red dress, her skin was fair while her eyes were melancholic but determined, which looked very similar to the second female lead, who was a princess in ‘Rose in the Wind’.

“It has nothing to do with you. You youngsters always want shortcuts. I hate opportunists!” the assistant director satirized Eva with a disappointed look.
