My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 535

Chapter 535

Esther weakly opened her eyes, gazing at the man who had astonished her entire youth. She

whispered feebly, “Bradley, I hate you.”

‘I hate you. Hate you.’

Esther understood more than anyone else that love often lay on the opposite end of hate. Without an

enduring love, could such profound hatred even exist?

“I hate you.” These three words echoed like thunder in Bradley’s ears.

He gently cupped Esther’s face, softly kissing away her tears. His gesture seemed like a plea for

forgiveness and redemption.

The man Bradley had nearly beaten to death eventually regained consciousness. He looked at the

scene before him, as if it were a beautiful moment from a movie. Anger consumed him, and he grabbed This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

a nearby wine bottle, forcefully smashing it against the back of Bradley’s head.

“Damn it. How dare you snatch my woman?”

Blood stained Bradley’s white hair. He disregarded Esther, who was barely conscious, and walked over

to the man. He grabbed the man’s collar and violently tossed him into the artificial pond by the room.

A loud scream echoed throughout the entire hotel.

Confused, the guests in the front courtyard rushed toward the commotion. They found a bloodied man

in the pond near the rockery.

Some of them instantly recognized him as Chadwick Pendleton.

“Mr. Pendleton! Mr. Pendleton!”

Chadwick’s injured hand pointed toward the room. “Quickly, catch him!”

The guests hurried inside, a collective gasp escaping their lips. The room was heavy with the metallic

scent of blood.

Esther lay on the bed, barely holding on to life, her brocade quilt soaked with her fresh blood. Her once

flawless skin was marked with ambiguous kiss marks. The events that had unfolded in this room were

painfully clear.

Bradley stood frozen, his gaze fixed on Esther.

Moving swiftly, Sadie covered Esther’s body with a quilt, and her hands trembled as she dialed 911.

“How did he get in?”

“How could she bleed so much?”

“Esther is really too pitiful!”

Bradley paid no mind to the questions from the others as he was eager to check on Esther. However,

Sadie forcibly pushed him away.

“Bradley, do you realize that Esther was pregnant?”

Bradley’s response was mechanical, his voice hollow, “She really was pregnant?”

“To keep this child, she endured countless injections to prevent a miscarriage!” Sadie’s eyes blazed

with rage. “You murderer!

The ambulance arrived swiftly, rushing Esther to the hospital.

Thanks to Agatha’s quick action, Esther’s life was saved. Sadly, she lost the baby.

Bradley stood apart from the crowd and stared at his bloodied hands, feeling as if he had plunged into

a cold, dark pit.

He wondered, ‘How could Esther be pregnant with my child?’ His mind was a whirlwind of confusion.

A voice broke through his thoughts. “Dr. Foster, how’s Esther?”

Agatha’s face displayed deep sorrow. “Esther’s safe, but she won’t be able to have children anymore.”

Truthfully, Agatha had advised against keeping the baby from the beginning. However, Esther had

insisted on holding on to it.
