Chapter 577
Chapter 577
“L… I…”
Esther trembled as she looked at the gruesome photo once more, her fear and panic still very much
alive.
Bradley’s expression was dark and foreboding, his eyes resembling an enigmatic black hole that
seemed to draw Esther in.
“Who sent this to you?” he asked.
Esther’s gaze bore into Bradley’s hand, which held the phone. To her immense relief, there was no sign
of any injury or surgery. His hand was entirely unharmed.
“Bradley, your hand…”
In response, Bradley tossed Esther’s phone onto the bed and seized her delicate neck, sending a
sharp. pain coursing through her body. Her lips quivered, but a smile of relief formed beneath her tears.
This was no dream-Bradley’s hand was whole.
“Why are you smiling?” Bradley demanded menacingly.
Despite her tears, Esther continued to smile. “Bradley, your hand is intact… Your hand is fine… This is
wonderful!”
A glistening tear slipped from her eye and landed on the back of Bradley’s hand, feeling like a drop of
scalding oil. He suddenly released his grip on her neck and loomed over her dominantly.
“You’re so gullible that I’m beginning to question Felix’s intelligence.”
He couldn’t believe Esther had fallen for such an obvious Photoshop trick.
Esther wiped her tears away, took a deep breath, and looked at Bradley with teary eyes. “Felix is
incredibly intelligent.”
She meant Felix had a high IQ.
Bradley snorted. “He’s smart because of me. If he had taken after you…”
“That’s precisely why Felix is a genius!” Esther’s gaze softened as she thought of Felix. It then
reminded her of her missing daughter. She asked tentatively, “I’m sure our daughter is just as adorable,
isn’t she?”
Bradley looked at Esther in exasperation, his eyebrows furrowing. His tone turned hostile. “With all your
questions, you’re just trying to find out where she is, aren’t you?” This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
“Yes!” Esther desperately wanted to know her daughter’s whereabouts and well-being. She couldn’t
hold back any longer.
Bradley gestured for her to come closer. “Come here.”
Esther believed Bradley would finally reveal where her daughter was, so she eagerly approached him.
In one swift motion, Bradley pressed her onto the sofa, unbuckled his belt with one hand, and used it
to
bind her wrists.
“Bradley!”
Esther turned frantic, pleading with Bradley.
No! She had recently undergone a miscarriage and hadn’t fully recovered. If Bradley acted recklessly
now, she could get an infection.
“What are you doing?!”.
Bradley forcefully pushed Esther’s head away and pressed her down onto the soft sofa pillow.
