My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 580

Chapter 580

Kevin’s gaze fixed on the blood smeared across Esther’s face, and he took a deep breath. “Esther, I’ll

stay here. Go clean up in the bathroom.”

“Sure.”

Esther knew the blood on her face and body was a result of Bradley’s coughing fit. She didn’t want

Felix to associate her with any distressing memories, so she quietly complied. She swiftly returned to

the hospital room, changed her clothes, and tidied herself before rejoining Kevin.

“Felix, wait here for Daddy to come out. Mommy and Uncle Kevin need to talk.”

“Okay.”

Esther and Kevin headed to the stairwell.

“Kevin, if Bradley doesn’t get the surgery…”

Kevin’s tone was heavy with pessimism. “Esther, mentally prepare yourself. If he doesn’t get the

surgery…”

Although Kevin’s sentence remained unfinished, Esther understood the grim outcome he hinted at.

However, aside from Mandy’s liver, which could be transplanted to Bradley, they hadn’t found a better Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

donor yet.

“Kevin, I’ll plead with Mandy…”

Esther started to leave.

Kevin held her back. “Calm down, Esther. What good would it do to approach Mandy now? She follows

Mr. Pendleton. Would she dare donate her liver to Bradley without his approval?”

“But…” Esther said, pained, “I can’t bear to see Bradley suffer.”

“What difference would it make if you approach Mr. Pendleton and Mandy now, other than putting

yourself in a difficult situation?” Kevin rubbed his temples, voicing his concern. “I’ve already initiated a

search. What if we find a more suitable donor?”

“Kevin, can Bradley afford to wait?”

Kevin fell silent. He understood that Bradley’s condition had deteriorated far faster than anticipated. A

prompt liver transplant was the only viable solution.

“Wait here. I’ll go to Mandy!”

Kevin held onto Esther, fearing that she might not return and that Chadwick would use Bradley as

leverage against her.

‘Esther…”

Esther gently removed Kevin’s grip. “I want Bradley to survive. I want him to be well.”

Kevin slowly let go under Esther’s pleading gaze. “Keep me Informed about everything Mr. Pendleton

does or says. We’ll find a solution together. Bradley will make it, I promise.”

“Okay.”

Esther grabbed her phone and headed to the elevator.

As she reached the garden, the elderly couple, left there by their bodyguards, rushed toward her and

knelt before her, desperate.

“Miss, please save our daughter with a liver transplant!”

“Miss, our daughter is dying. Please…”

Esther’s legs felt heavy, as if weighed down by lead. At that moment, she grasped the anguish and

desperation of the elderly couple.

“I’m truly sorry, but I can’t do the liver transplant right now. However, I promise that once I find a

suitable liver for my husband, I’ll immediately arrange a transplant for your daughter.”

Tears streamed down the elderly couple’s faces. “Miss, we implore you. Our daughter can’t wait much

longer. If you can’t do it, can you use my liver? Will my liver work?”

Esther couldn’t bear to meet their eyes. She touched her aching heart and said despairingly, “It won’t

be long. Trust me. I’ll arrange a liver transplant for your daughter very soon…”

The desperate couple had finally located Esther and refused to let her go. They exchanged glances

and rushed toward her, forcibly pulling her toward the operating room.

Their sinister plan was to take Esther to the operating table and use her liver to save their daughter!
