My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 591

Chapter 591

Esther felt as if Bradley’s hand was squeezing her throat so tightly it might break. “Bradley, you’ve got it

all wrong!”

Her face turned bright red as she desperately tried to defend herself.

“Wrong?” Bradley leaned in and bit down harshly on Esther’s right ear. His teeth cruelly gnashed at her

delicate, elf-like ear, drawing a trickle of blood that smeared across his lips.

“Bradley, nothing is happening between Jasper and me. We’re innocent,” she said, muffling a pained

whimper.

Bradley let go of her throat, and Esther coughed. She clutched her sore neck as tears welled up in her

eyes, revealing her vulnerability.

“Innocent?” Bradley took pleasure in her discomfort.

“We’re innocent,” Esther repeated, her voice hoarse from coughing. She leaned against the hospital

room door, her eyes misty as she explained, “I’ve never betrayed you. Please, you have to believe

me!”

Her love had always been for one man only-Bradley.

Bradley glanced at Esther, his eyes radiating coldness. He touched her bleeding ear with his fingertip,

staining it with her blood. He smeared the red across her lips with the same finger and smiled

mockingly.

“Do you really think Jasper would be pursuing you like a pesky fly if you hadn’t given him hope?”

Esther’s heart tightened. She longed to clarify everything to Bradley, to say she had already turned

down Jasper’s advances. But as she tried to voice this, it felt like making excuses rather than NôvelDrama.Org © content.

explaining

“Brad, I can swear there’s nothing inappropriate between Jasper and me.”

Before Esther could react, Bradley scooped her up and carried her.

“Bradley Warner! Put me down!” Esther’s body suddenly went weak, causing her to instinctively wrap

her slender arm around his neck.

With a firm yet captivating expression, Bradley carried her into the bathroom and placed her in the

empty bathtub.

“Bradley Warner!”

Caught off guard, Esther watched as Bradley grabbed the showerhead, turned on the faucet, and

directed the water at her. The icy stream hit her face, forcing her eyes shut tightly.

“Besides touching your hair, where else did Jasper touch you?” he pressed while yanking her hair.

“Nowhere!” Esther was shivering from the cold.

“Has he ever kissed your face?” Bradley asked with a devilish grin, his fingers grazing her soft cheek.

“Has he?”

“Never!” Overwhelmed, Esther broke into tears. Her sobs echoed in the confined bathroom. “I swear,

never!”

Realizing Esther was not going to confess, Bradley seized a handful of her hair and hurled her against

the cold bathroom tiles. Her hair was soaked, and her clothes clung wetly to her body.
