My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 2266

Chapter 2266

The car traveled all the way out of the city center and into an abandoned factory in the distant suburbs.

It was quite a distance away from the city center, and there was no one living near the area. The four-story factory building was about the size of three football fields, and as the wind blew, I could hear echoes around me.

Jordan got out of the car and went straight inside. He didn't care if I was following him or not.

The road was nothing more than a path through an abandoned field created from people's footsteps over time. The width was just enough for one person to pass through. Since I was wearing high heels, it was harder for me to walk. I could see him walking further and further away from me.

Fortunately, Jordan stopped walking when he reached the fourth floor.

The floor of this building was a round structure with a large space in the middle, from which we could see the lower floors directly below us. Jordan stood at the edge and looked down.

I walked up the stairs and slowly headed in his direction one step at a time. I squinted and imagined how nice it would be if there was a strong wind that would suddenly blow and push him down. That way, he would be either dead or paralyzed. Then even if I would still have ny-nine problems, he wouldn't be one of them.

"Falling from this height won't kill you." Jordan's back was facing me, but he could still see through my thoughts.

I stopped walking and was one meter away from him. "Not necessarily."

If he fell head first, he could still end up being brain dead even if he didn't die. That wouldn't make him any different from being dead.

Jordan did not continue on the rhetorical topic and calmly changed it. "I have some great news I'm sure you'll be very happy to know about. Hendrix has been looking for Evan since last night."All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

It was indeed music to my ears.

But why was he being so "kind" to tell me this?

Could it be that he had discovered something about Hendrix so he thought of a more evil and torturous plan?

"But." Before I could say anything, Jordan added, "At the same time, he also took a lot of drugs from my men."

Was he trying to say that Hendrix wanted to personally hand the drugs to Evan?

Wouldn't he be fueling Evan's addiction by doing that?

Before I could speak, the sound of car brakes could be heard from the ground floor, followed by the sounds of frantic footsteps.

A few seconds later, a man in a suit

and leather shoes was thrown from

the entrance to the ground on the

first floor, kicking up a dust storm in the room.

There was a tall figure obscuring the man's body, and as he quickly walked forward, we could see who it was.

Upon a clearer look, I noticed it was Hendrix and his familiar features. It was only then that I realized the person who was hauled in might be Evan.

It was Evan for sure. He was trembling, his face pale. He was initially a tough man who could even fight against five people on his own, yet now he did not even have the strength to stand up. He curled up on the ground, his arms wrapped around his body. His deep eyes almost looked as if they were rolling back into his head. I couldn't even

bear to continue watching him suffer like that.

In the blink of an eye, Evan was craving drugs again. He suddenly opened his eyes wide and trembled more fiercely. His nose started

sniffling as he completely lost met

senses. Oblivious to the fact that he was wearing a suit, he just rolled on the ground, wrestling with pain, and begged crazily, exactly the picture of a textbook drug addict.

"Give it to me-"

"Boss, please, just give it to me, I can't stand it anymore! I'm going to die. I can't hold on any longer..."

"Hendrix! I've done so much for you. Do you want to watch me die? Ahhhhh!"

Hendrix remained expressionless as he watched Evan's entire body covered in dust. He slowly opened his mouth and said, "Of course not."
