Chapter 988 Julien Removed His Robe in Her Face

"..." Sydney was speechless.

Julien had a point. She couldn't argue with him.

She couldn't foresee what would happen. She couldn't see the accident in advance. It could happen in the next second or tomorrow.

After a few seconds of silence, Sydney shook Julien's arm and played cute, "OK. I'll be careful. Don't be mad, okay?"

She tilted her head to look at him, and she looked so cute.

Julien wasn't angry. He just showed an angry face to let her know he was worried about her.

Julien cupped Sydney's cheek with his hand, and then he squeezed her cheek until her lips puckered.

Julien kissed her on the lips. Then he released her cheek. "Okay. Let's go. Time for breakfast."

Sydney let out a snort.

'Damn it! He took advantage of me again!'

Julien noticed Sydney's annoyance, but he ignored it. He had a smile on his face.

He carried her to the table and placed her on a chair. After that, he started to place the food on the table.

While Julien put the plates on the table, Sydney helped remove the lids from the plates. The two worked seamlessly together.

The food looked delicious.

Sydney gestured to the chair across from her, "Take a seat. Let's eat."

Julien replied, "Let me pour the milk for you."

He then grabbed a bottle of milk and poured her a glass of milk.

After everything was ready, he sat across from her. "Let's eat."

Sydney took a sip of milk. Looking at the breakfast, she laughed, "It's eleven o'clock and we're having breakfast. Isn't this too late?"

Julien put a slice of bread on her plate as he replied, "No. There are no rules in this world to begin with. Rules are made by people, but why should we follow them? We can do whatever we want, can't we? It's okay for us to have breakfast at noon."

"You're right." Sydney took a bite of the bread and nodded.

Julien took a sip of his coffee and continued, "But we'd better eat breakfast on time. It's not good for our stomach to have breakfast so late."

"Are you trying to lecture me?" Sydney glanced at him.

Julien didn't say anything but had a smile.

The two enjoyed their brunch in silence.

After they finished it, it was twelve o'clock. It was time for them to check out of the room.

After Julien brushed his teeth and came out of the bathroom, he handed Sydney a delicate bag from the couch.

Sydney blinked her eyes and asked in confusion, "What's this?"

"It's your clothes." Julien replied, "I had Zach bring it over."

Sydney opened the bag. Inside was a brand new set of clothes, even underwear.

Sydney blushed instantly, "There is a bra in there. How did Zach..."

Julien knew what she was going to say. He answered as he was undoing his robe. "The clothes were picked up from the Cloud Building. I have a checkroom and lots of clothes for you there, and some of them are put together as a set and sealed in bags, so it's convenient whenever you need them. I just let Zach take one of the bags."

After hearing Julien's explanation, Sydney was relieved. "All right. I thought Zach picked out these clothes for me. That would have been embarrassing."

"How could that be? How could I let another man touch your clothes?" Julien took off his robe and he was now standing naked in front of her.

Sydney's eyes went wide and then she blushed. She let out a scream as she covered her eyes, "Julien, why are you naked in front of me?"

Julien raised his eyebrows carelessly and curled his lips into a smile. Sydney was so shy that he was amused. He watched her as he took his clothes out of the bag. Then he dressed slowly and nonchalantly.

Sydney stomped her foot and hissed, "That's not the same! Last night was… Damn! I don’t know what to say. Get your clothes on."

Then she turned around.

Seeing that even her ears were reddened, he smiled.

It was obvious that he was happy when Sydney was shy.

Julien stopped teasing Sydney and he quickly got dressed.

After he was dressed, he said as he was straightening his suit, "Okay. You can turn around now."

Sydney then put her hands down and turned around.

Sydney was relieved to see that he was dressed and not lying to her. "Okay. Now I'm going to change. I'm going to do it in the bathroom."

Then she hurried to the bathroom.

Probably because she had eaten breakfast, she had strength now. Her legs weren't weak anymore. At least she could walk on her own.

Looking at Sydney's back, Julien smiled. Then he took out his cell phone and asked Zach to drive the car to the hotel entrance. They would be going out soon.

Sydney quickly changed her clothes. She opened her purse and put on simple makeup.

She looked in the mirror and was satisfied with the look. Then she put the lipstick in her purse and carried it out of the bathroom.

Julien was sitting on the couch waiting for her. When he saw that she was done, he immediately put down the magazine and got up. "Are you done?"

"Yes." Sydney nodded and walked over to him.

Julien bent his arms. His meaning was clear.

Sydney smiled. She didn't let him down and took his arm. They got out of the room.

Zach was waiting in front of the hotel.

Julien and Sydney saw their car as soon as they came out.

"We got some clues." Zach pushed up his glasses and reported seriously, "Dallin's assistant made a trip to ZX and Perfect Parts Company."

"ZX and Perfect Parts Company?" Julien wrinkled his eyebrows, "Where are those two companies?"

The corner of Zach's mouth twitched. Then he replied, "Mr. Flint, have you forgotten that both of the two companies have worked with Ms. Raines? And Ms. Raines had bought Perfect Parts Company when she was at the resort. But two months ago, the company was bought back by its previous owner."
