Chapter 3305 Why Have You Chosen Me

“This way!”

When Megan heard Donna’s voice, she turned around and saw her across the street with a slender woman next to her. The relatively young woman had a digital camera with her.

Megan tried to conceal her face with the cap and greeted the woman once she reached their side.

“Hello, I’m Megan!”

“Hey, I’m Monica.”

The photographer seemed to be a woman of a few words. She deadpanned her introduction and remained silent after greeting Megan in return.

On the other hand, when Megan heard Monica’s name, her eyes widened in disbelief because she recalled Monica was the lead photographer of a top-notch fashion magazine and the youngest award- winning photographer.

Previously, she tried to procure Monica’s aid to produce her album; yet, her request was turned down because of Monica’s packed schedule.

Since I have encountered her seven years earlier, I think she’s still a college student. She doesn’t seem as intimidating as the Monica that I knew. I guess it’s because she’s still a rookie.

Monica frowned in return because she disliked others staring at her in the eyes. She asked, “Do you know me?”

Megan finally returned to her senses and waved in return. “No! I just think you look like a close acquaintance of mine! If you’re ready, let’s begin!”

Monica lowered her gaze and started adjusting the setting of her camera. Instead of groveling herself at the presence of a celebrity, the woman with a ponytail remarked in a casual manner, “Sure. The set of clothes you have put on is suitable for a photoshoot to take place at a bustling street.”

When Megan heard Monica’s remark, she was taken aback because of her sharp fashion sense. A simple glance was all it took for her to determine the appropriate theme for the photoshoot.

Impressed, Megan exclaimed, “You’re awesome! I can’t believe you’re so experienced when you’re so young!”

“It’s a remark I have made based on my hunch instead of my experience. Actually, I was never involved in a formal photoshoot before. I guess we’ll find out if I’m cut for the job or not at the end of the session.”

After Monica finished her sentence, she directed the camera at Megan in between the crowd. As a result, some of the onlookers noticed they were in the middle of a photoshoot. A few of her fans approached her for signature.

Soon, the plaza got increasingly crowded. In order to prevent from causing any disruption to the public, Megan ended up shooting at different locations.

They spent a few hours taking photos of different themes. By the time they were done, it was already five o’clock. The exhausted trio was finally done with the first candid photoshoot.

“Oh, God! We’re finally done!”

Unable to withstand the pent-up fatigue anymore, Megan took a seat at a hidden corner. Similarly, the worn-out Donna and Monica sat next to her.

After Monica wiped her sweat dry, she suggested with a deadpan look, “Check it out.”

She handed over the camera to Megan and showed her the fruits of their labor. Megan was pleased as she perused all the photos.

Her attempt to save up had brought her to the renowned photographer in the future. She was determined to stay in touch with Monica to gain the first-mover advantage.

“Can you please touch up the photos on my behalf? Once you’re done, send everything to my email. Also, I’d like to hire you for the long run.”

When Megan returned the camera to Monica, she noticed the photographer was taken aback by her request. She thought Monica was worried about the rate. Thus, she said, “You don’t have to worry because I’m not going to scam you. After all, I’m considered a public figure. We can always discuss the suitable rate—” Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“It’s not about the money.” Monica held on to the camera and interrupted Megan with a melancholic look, “I’m sure there are a lot of photographers at your service, isn’t it? Why have you chosen a college student instead of a professional?”

Her question took Megan by surprise because she made it sound as though others had doubted her photography skills before.
