No Bounds for the CEO’s Spoiling

Qin Muxuan walked to the door of Gu Zijin’s bedroom and looked at the door in front of her. The scenes from the past were flashing across her mind again. There were all kinds of memories, happy ones, sad ones, beautiful ones and painful ones.

Qin Muxuan took a deep breath and just as she put her hand on the handle, the door opened from inside.

Qin Muxuan was taken aback and she glared at Gu Zijin who was inside the room. “You’re in the room? You scared me to death.” She hadn’t seen any light coming out from the room, so she thought there was no one inside.

Gu Zijin turned on the lights. “Why did you stand outside for so long?”

Qin Muxuan was a little embarrassed. “How did you know I was outside?” It’d been a few years, and she didn’t dare to go in there. But of course, she couldn’t say that out loud.

“I heard the sound,” Gu Zijin explained.

Qin Muxuan nodded and entered the room, but she didn’t answer Gu Zijin’s question and Gu Zijin didn’t continue asking.

Qin Muxuan looked around the room and it seemed to be the same as before. In fact, when she thought about it, everything that belonged to her and Gu Zijin seemed to be the same as before, which made Qin Muxuan feel that only she had changed.

“Are there any clothes that I can wear?” Qin Muxuan didn’t know she was going to stay today, so she didn’t bring any clothes.

When Qin Muxuan came out, Gu Zijin was sitting on the sofa with a iPad on his knees. It looked like he was working.

Out of courtesy, Qin Muxuan asked, “Do you want to take a shower first?”

Gu Zijin raised his eyebrows, “You’re so desperate?”

Qin Muxuan was stunned for a moment. She didn’t know how such a normal question could be associated with “desperate”. When she realized what he meant by that, she was flushed and she scolded, “What are you thinking about every day?”

And without looking at Gu Zijin, Qin Muxuan walked into the bathroom.

Looking at how defeated Qin Muxuan looked while she walked away, Gu Zijin felt that though he had taken a beating in the last round of their conversation, he won in this round of their conversation, so he was in a great mood and continued to work.

When Qin Muxuan came out, Gu Zijin was no longer looking at his iPad. Instead he was holding a book in his hand.

Seeing Qin Muxuan come out, Gu Zijin asked casually, “You’re done?”

Qin Muxuan didn’t look at him, and to avoid losing again, she only let out a low “Mhmm.”

Gu Zijin noticed Qin Muxuan’s abnormal behavior. He chuckled and picked up his clothes and said, “Wait for me then.” And then he went into the bathroom.

After a while, Qin Muxuan clearly felt the other side of the bed sink down. The unique, refreshing fragrance on Gu Zijin’s body was accompanied by the slight coldness when he lifted the quilt. Gu Zijin breathed out hot air in her ear, “Muxuan, are you asleep?”

Qin Muxuan’s body stiffened but she didn’t move or say anything.

Qin Muxuan felt that half of her body was going numb but she still didn’t say anything.

This time, Gu Zijin kissed Qin Muxuan’s earlobe directly, “You’re really asleep?”
