Gu Zijin was the one who invited him. Yin Youting thought something had happened to Qin Muxuan when he received the call.

“What’s wrong with Muxuan?” Yin Youting was frantic, and he was almost furious, “Gu Zijin, if you can’t take care of her, just let her go, okay?!”

Gu Zijin’s mouth twitched and he hung up.

Taking a deep breath, Qin Muxuan looked at him wonderingly.

Gu Zijin looked as though nothing had happened. “Nothing. I called the wrong number.”

The call went through again:

“Gu Zijin, did you just hang up on me?!”

Gu Zijin ignored Yin Youting’s accusation and said,

“Mr. Yin, thank you for taking care of my wife for the past few years, so my wife and I are going to treat you to a meal to express our gratitude.”

He emphasized the word ‘wife’. Clearly, he was declaring ownership.

Yin Youting was so angry that he gritted his teeth and didn’t say anything for a long time.

“Mr. Yin, are you still there? Did you hear what I just said?”

Gu Zijin sounded quite formal but Yin Youting felt that it was particularly annoying.

How could Gu Zijin let her go? He held her slender waist with one hand and grabbed her hand with his other hand.

“You promised to marry me just a few days ago. What? You won’t admit it now that you’ve taken advantage of me?”

“Aren’t you the one who’ve taken advantage of me?” Qin Muxuan was unhappy but her ears were red.

The more Gu Zijin looked at her, the more he fell in love with her. He couldn’t help but wonder how much he had missed over the past few years when he wasn’t around her.

When she got to the dining room, Gu Zijin was already eating breakfast.

Qin Muxuan deliberately walked over to Gu Zijin, circled and asked, “How is it? Do I look good in it?”

Both Xiaobai and Xiaoxin praised, “Yeah, mommy looks gorgeous!”

Gu Zijin also said, “You look great.”
