Oh, My Dear Mr. Crowley

Chapter 6: You Scheme Against Me, I'll Sleep with Your Man

"Over the years, have I told you how disgusting your shameless face is? Make me like? What makes you think that after causing my mother's death and trampling on my happiness, you can still live peacefully without any guilt?" Vivienne spoke slowly.

"Colton, let me tell you this. If I don't live well, none of you will either," she continued.

Colton was taken aback by her words. "Don't be ridiculous. Mingzhu has already been hospitalized because of what happened to her. Don't think that just because you have something in your hand, you can blackmail me. As the main character in our father-daughter relationship drama, I can help smooth things out with the court and get your sentence reduced by two years."

Vivienne burst into laughter. "Two years? You married my mother and then abandoned her to die; surely you know that as long as I'm around, I will bite down hard on all of your family."

She raised her voice and shouted: "I don't want to make a deal with you anymore! Police! There's something important that needs reporting..."

But Colton grabbed onto her clothes tightly before she could finish speaking and said fiercely: "Shut up! Don't think for a second that I'm afraid of you."Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Suddenly grabbing his shirt collar aggressively, Vivienne sneered: "I've put up with so much from your family for so many years; do you really think there's nothing in my hands? If it helps convince you otherwise... like five years ago when your secretary went missing or the box of cake sent to the mayor this year on Independence Day - trust me when I say there are plenty more where those came from. Let me tell you, if it means we all go down together, then so be it!" Colton didn't dare take any risks. Vivienne was clearly willing to do whatever it takes for revenge, no matter the cost.

He quickly weighed his options and said: "Alright, I can promise to get you out of here, but on one condition - once you're out, leave the country immediately and never come back."

Vivienne gave him a disdainful look. "Police! Why haven't they arrived yet?"

"At least 10 years before returning is my biggest concession; don't push your luck," Colton added.

"Police! There's an urgent situation here!" Vivienne shouted again.

Impatiently, the police came over and asked: "What's going on?"

Colton grabbed onto Vivienne tightly and asked her: "How long do you want?"

"Three years at most..." she replied nonchalantly.

"No way, that's too short," he retorted.

Shrugging her shoulders indifferently, Vivienne said: "Suit yourself. It doesn't matter to me anyway since I'm not afraid."

"Fine then. I'll give you five days," Colton finally agreed after gritting his teeth in frustration.

"You have two days at most, or else it won't count," Vivienne stood up and told him firmly before turning toward the police officer. "You can take me back now."

...

That night in the Scully family living room was filled with tension as all five members wished for nothing more than to skin Vivienne alive while she remained unafraid of death herself. However, they had reputations and status that they couldn't afford to lose by killing her outright.

"Three years is three years; we'll have plenty of time during those three years to deal with her," Barbara gritted through clenched teeth.

Samantha angrily slammed down a cup on the table beside her. "Mom, why don't we just attack her in prison? Let her die in there and never come out again."
