Our Billion-Worth Twins

Chapter 1623

Chapter 1623

"She won't fall for your trick. Come on, sweetheart. Let's walk around over there."

Tail thought for a moment and remembered that the photographer seemed to be still following them. So, she grabbed Edwin's rough hand and blinked her watery eyes." You have to keep your promise, Daddy."

Joanne was stunned.

When Edwin brought so many delicacies to the ward, Tail hadn't given in.

But today, she called Edwin Daddy just for a lollipop.

Edwin's heart skipped a beat. He couldn't believe his ears.

Tail called him Daddy? Did she really do that?

"What did you just call me? Come again!" he said, his voice trembling with excitement.

Tail repeated seriously despite her reluctance, "Daddy."

"You're so sweet!" Edwin exclaimed, picking up the girl and lifting her high. He put his face close to hers. "I've been waiting for you to say that for a long time. Come on, give Daddy a kiss." Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

Tail hesitated. "No. Your beard is prickly."

"Then can I kiss you?" Edwin couldn't contain his excitement. His eyes shone like stars as he pecked Tail on her lips.

Her lips were so soft. She was more adorable than any child he had ever seen.

Tail stood there frozen.

What her mother had told her suddenly occurred to her.

Men and women shouldn't kiss. If they kissed and slept together, they would have a baby.

This man was terrible to kiss her, and she had fallen asleep in his arms earlier because she was so sleepy. Did that mean both conditions were met?

No! She would not have a baby for him.

One second passed, then two, then three...

Suddenly, Tail burst into tears and began pounding her little fists on Edwin's chest.

Edwin was at a loss. Everything had been fine just now, and then his kiss upset her so much. Had he failed so miserably as a father? Or should he have taken things more slowly, being content with just hugging her for now and saving the kiss for later?

Hearing Tail's howls, Joanne hurried over and took her from Edwin's arms, trying to soothe her.

"The photographer is still recording. If you keep crying, all the teachers at school will know, and Miles will too."

Tail tried to hold back her sobs, but her shoulders shook." Why did he kiss me? I don't want him to kiss me!"

"It's okay. Daddy is terrible. I'll help you teach him a lesson," Joanne said, not understanding why Tail was suddenly so resistant to Edwin. Acting on her promise, she gave him a symbolic kick.

Tears streamed down Tail's face. "I want to go home! I don't want to see him!"

Joanne wiped the tears from Tail's face and sighed. "Don't you want your lollipop?"

"There are lots of them at home," Tail said, pouting. "I can eat them when I get home."

Edwin felt helpless, not sure what he had done that upset Tail so much.

Because of this little incident, the recording had to end there.

Fortunately, the footage could be edited and uploaded to show how happy the family was.

However, the video of their harmonious relationships was only the beginning.

There was a series of parental assessment programs to follow.
