Painful seduction

” I called for a long time Rhea, why didn’t you take my calls?” The angry Cindy said as soon as the call went through.

“Cindy, I didn’t see any of your calls” she answered.

“Why do you sound so tensed?”.

” I was under pressure a while ago but am fine now “she answered drying her sweaty face with her palm.

She arrived like 30 Minutes ago in the hospital after the incident of Damien fainting In the club.

Although the doctors already informed her he was fine and out of danger she still felt scared .

‘ Meanwhile, Damien is fine and out of danger ‘ she said trying to avoid eye contact with the nurse at the reception, She felt guilty of a great sin but didn’t know what, ‘ They said he fainted due to shock’.

‘ Yes, I already know that ‘ the receiver answered.

‘ Now could you explain what really went on back at the club?’ Cathy asked with a harsh tone, she seem to have forgotten she was once feeling guilty and scared.

‘ I just wanted to try out something, a crazy thing they will make him feel dizzy for a while ‘ she answered.

‘Was it necessary? How was that supposed to help us?’ Cindy asked out of the numerous questions that flooded her mind.

‘Think Cindy!’

That was the response she heard, how could Rhea tell her to think? What was there to think? The only thought she had was Rhea’s undefined Craziness.

‘You know that taking him to the hospital means there is a 50 percent chance his going to fall for you’ that was Rhea’s reply.

Cindy stood still confused and not knowing what else to do.

At one hand was Rhea’s crazy thoughts and then on the other hand was she trying very hard to understand what was going on.

‘ I don’t understand anything at all but please in the future, don’t try something like this ‘ Cindy said, ‘Its not necessary to cause too much drama’ .

‘ Ma’am, the patient wants to see you’ a nurse interrupted Cindy.

‘ Cindy quit talking to me and go to him’ Rhea said , looks like she was already tired of the call.

The call ended and then the door let open revealing Dementrio with two wine glasses half filled with red wine.

‘ You seem to be much closer with your friend, Er… what’s her name again?’ he asked gesturing her to help him out while she took the wine glass from him.

‘Cindy’.

‘ Yes, correctly . So how long have you been friends?’ He asked.

‘ Let’s say 3 or 4 years and for those years we have been more closer than sisters ‘ she answered.

‘You met her where?’

She paused for a while as she sipped her wine and slowly narrated her first encounter with Cindy.

That was just about 4 years ago, she couldn’t remember the exact day but was really sure Cindy could remember.

She arrived to Los Angeles for the first time and had gone out with this middle aged man, probably in his 40’s which was a little too old for her but she didn’t mind at all.

They went to an expensive restaurant and had eaten and drunk to their satisfaction when the bills came and he excused himself to use the restroom, she waited for about an hour for him but he didn’t show up. That was when it dawned on her that she had been fooled and was left with a bill of 1500 dollars.

She didn’t have any cash and the manager and waitress of the restaurant where already calling up the security agents when a young lady of about 20 whom she later discovered to be Cindy offered to pay off the bills.

” So that’s how our amazing friendship started” she concluded gulping her drink.

” So where is he now?” He asked

” I don’t know, I never saw the fool after then” she answered.

‘ Quit talking about me let’s talk about you ‘ she got up as she gradually swayed her hips to where he was standing with a glass.

He looked confused and agitated as his palms started fidgeting, opening his mouth to say something but said nothing.

He gathered courage and walked away from her , his gesture looked funny as Rhea immediately held her stomach trying to control her laugher.

‘ Don’t Tell me you are shy , Dementrio ‘ she said in between laughter as she got closer and hugged him from behind.

‘ Feel free with me and stop behaving like a big baby’ She warned as he turned to face her.

He didn’t know what was going on, different thoughts flooded his head, thoughts of wanting to be with her.

He wanted her and he knew she wanted the same thing but why was he not accepting the fact that she had changed him.

He was in his own thoughts when he felt warm lips, all thoughts flooded away and he realize that they were actually kissing.

He felt his hormones rise up again and the desire became stronger but before he could reciprocate the feeling she pulled away looking hurt.

Maybe she felt she was forcing herself, she walked away to get her handbag , murmured an angry goodbye and left immediately.

Dementrio got out of his trance and thoughts. Replacing those thoughts was the bitterness of she leaving.

Rhea! Rhea! He called but she didn’t turn back.

She was walking quickly stomping her feet as he felt concerned that she would hurt her feet.

‘Rhea watched the steps!’ He warned but he was too late, she had slipped and landed with a thud.

She winched in pain as she tried to get up , he got closer as he tried to help her but she slapped his hands away leaving him hurt but she didn’t mind at all .

She tried again to get up but it hurt really badly, so she decided to stay still.

‘ Allow me to help you Rhea ‘ he said softly.

‘ Why should I do that ‘ she yelled.

He sighed was he going to take the risk of letting her know his feelings? There was surely no better time than now.

“I love you…” He said allowing the words to trail off.
