Chapter 1502 One Doesn't Need to Prove Oneself to Anyone

Jessica said that it was not bad, just to see Carl's reaction.

Carl's eyes lit up. "If you like it, I can make it for you every day."

Carl went to the office after breakfast.

He went for a drink with Jayvion and then slept at home for a whole day. He didn't go to work all day

He was busy all day.

Jessica rested her chin in her hands and stared at Summer's face.

"Why are you staring at me?" Summer asked when she noticed this.

Jessica replied, "Is it my imagination or have you become prettier? Your skin looks better, and your

face is a little rounder..." Then she laughed.

Summer stroked her face and asked, "Is it that obvious?"

"What?" Jessica didn't understand what she meant.

Summer smiled and said, "I have gained some weight lately."

"Why are you so happy about it? Is there any good news?" Jessica saw Summer's expression and

knew that there must be something she didn't know.

The waiter served coffee.

Summer thanked him. She lowered her eyes and stirred the coffee. A moment later, she said softly, "I'm

pregnant."

"What?" It took a few seconds for the words to sink in. Jessica was delighted. She brought over the

coffee in front of Summer and said, "You're pregnant! It's such big news ... Hey, don't drink this

coffee..."

"It's okay to drink a little..." Summer said as she reached out to get her coffee back.

But Jessica didn't give it back to her and ordered her a glass of juice.

Summer had no choice, so she just drank the juice with a straw.

"When did this happen? Leonardo must be delighted, isn't he?" Jessica asked.

"He doesn't know yet," Summer said with a smile.

Perhaps a happy person would keep smiling involuntarily.

That was how Summer was like at the moment. She looked warm and kept smiling.

"Haven't you told him yet? I mean, this is a big deal," Jessica thought for a while and said. "If he knew

that you were pregnant, he would never let you come out alone."

"How old is it?" Jessica's gaze fell on Summer's belly.

"A month. Leonardo has been busy lately. I want to tell him this good news later when he is not this

busy. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to work these days."

Summer knew Leonardo best.

If he knew about her pregnancy, he would give priority to her and didn't bother to work.

But she was not as fragile as Leonardo always thought.
