Pregnant After One Night With The Lycan King

Months have passed and the day for Layla’s delivery drew near.

She felt like the happiest and luckiest woman on earth.

Nolan was the best thing heaven could have ever offered to her.

He was supportive and made sure she was comfortable all through her pregnancy.

She has two weeks more before the due date and everyone anticipated her delivery.

He became the sweetest man and made sure he talked to the baby every night before taking Layla to bed.

Nolan gently placed his hand on Layla’s swollen belly, feeling the baby move inside.

“You are going to be a wonderful mother,” he said, his voice full of love. “Our child is so lucky to have you.”

Layla smiled, her heart filled with joy. “And I am so lucky to have you,” she said, her hand resting on top of his.

“We are going to be the best parents in the world.”

” I know right?” He smiled, planting a kiss on her lips and Layla turned to look in the mirror.

She frowned on seeing herself, she’s grown so bigger and fatter. She almost looked unrecognizable and Layla felt she now looked unattractive.

“What’s wrong?” Nolan asked, sensing the change in Layla’s mood. He looked at her reflection in the mirror, but he did not see what she saw. He saw a beautiful woman, radiant with the glow of motherhood.

“I just feel so big and awkward,” Layla pouted, gesturing to her belly.

“I’m not used to looking like this.”

Nolan wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.

“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen,” he said, his voice full of sincerity.

” That’s a lie..” Layla shook him off.

” You’re only saying that to make me feel better. I look so fat.. ” she frowned as she touched her face.

“Layla, I’m not just saying that to make you feel better,” Nolan deadpanned, his voice firm.

“I truly mean it. You are beautiful, inside and out. Your body is doing something incredible, something miraculous. It’s growing a tiny human being, who is a part of both of us. That’s nothing to feel ashamed of, it’s something to be proud of.”

“I know that,” Layla said, her voice softening.

“But it’s hard sometimes, to feel good about myself when I look so different from before.”

“You’re not just the same person you were before, you look more pretty and I’d love it if you remained fat after delivery..” Nolan said with a sly smile pulling up at the corner of his lips.

Layla burst out laughing at his comment, her previous insecurity fading away.

“Well, that’s a first! I’ve never heard anyone say they’d prefer their wife to be fat!” she teased.

“I’m just being honest,” Nolan said, laughing along with her.

“And besides, who needs to be thin anyway? I like a woman with some curves!”

Layla couldn’t help but laugh again at his playful words. She had to admit, he had a point but she still preferred her old body.

“Then you should look elsewhere for a woman with curves..” she pinpointed and she pushed him away from her.

” Come on babe. You know I’ll never look at someone else not when I have a whole meal right in front of me.. ” he winked seductively at her.

Layla burst out laughing, feeling flattered by his words. “You’re such a charmer!” she said, shaking her head.

“But it’s not going to work on me that easily.”

” Get away from me. I’m going downstairs for lunch…” Layla informed as her eyes met his blue ones.

He was right; she fell in love with his eyes at first sight.

” I’ll grab a shirt.. ” he informed, walking over to his closet.

Layla couldn’t help but watch as Nolan walked over to his closet, admiring his broad shoulders and strong physique. He was truly a sight to behold, and she felt incredibly lucky to have him in her life.

“What are you looking at?” Nolan asked, his voice amused as he caught her staring.

“Nothing,” Layla replied, quickly looking away. But she couldn’t help but smile, feeling caught red-handed.

“You’re terrible at lying,” Nolan said, chuckling as he wore a shirt.

“But I’ll take it as a compliment.” He placed his hands around her waist and he led her outside the room and they both headed to the dining room.

The dining room was large and airy, with a long table in the center. The table was set with china and silverware, and there was a beautiful centerpiece of fresh flowers.

“Hi Keisha.. ” she waved at Keisha who was already seated, there along with Darren and Carla.

“Layla hey. I thought you were going to stay there in your room forever. ” Keisha teased as Layla sat down laughing.

“Where’s Malcolm?” Layla asked seeing he was not around for breakfast.

“He has early morning practice… Keisha informed as Layla shook her head.

Malcolm said he wanted to join the royal army so the only thing she could do was support him all the way.

The maids served her plate and they all began to eat.

“Um… I have an announcement to make..” Keisha began gaining everyone’s attention.

Keisha cleared her throat, a nervous smile on her face. “I’m pregnant,” she announced, her voice filled with happiness and excitement.

“I’m going to have a baby.” She giggled happily.

There was a moment of stunned silence, and then everyone began to congratulate her. Layla was overjoyed, and she hurried over to hug her friend.

“That’s wonderful news!” she said, beaming with smiles.

” Congratulations Keisha… ” Nolan wished her.

” Thanks, Nolan. I guess you’re not the only proud father now.. ” she teased.

” Congratulations Darren… ” Layla said to him.

” Congratulations to you both… ” Carla forced out a smile at them.

Her day had not been going well and the news ruined her mood even more.

” Thanks, Carla.. ”

” I’m so happy for you… ” Layla giggled and hugged Keisha happily.

” I guess I’ll take my leave now. I have something to take care of..” Carla informed me as she left immediately after.

“We should throw a party.. ‘” Layla said gingerly.

“That’s a great idea!” Keisha said, her eyes sparkling.

“I know right? I’ll invite Aurora over… ” Layla said happily. She felt very happy for Keisha. They were both going to be mothers. She couldn’t be happier.
