“Arrhh!!!!” Carla screamed as she tossed the cosmetics that were lying on top of her dressing table away.

“F*ck you Layla…” she gritted her teeth in anger as she used her hand to ruffle her hair as she threw her hands in the air.

Her plans had been ruined. None of her plans worked. She was just happy for no reason. She had thought Layla was going to die, she had even gone ahead to prepare for a celebration but that fool had ruined all her plans.

“Damn you Sarah!!” She yelled as she threw herself in the bed in frustration.

“You think you’re smart huh?” She scoffed as she laughed hysterically.

“You think you’re going to avoid all this. You’re such a fool Sarah..” she cursed. Sarah had actually thought that killing herself would redeem her from all of this.

“You’re so so stupid. You ruined everything for me, now I’ll make your family pay for your sins instead..” she swore as she fumed in anger, hatred running through her veins.

“The family you were trying so hard to protect will pay for this .” She uttered as she stood up from the bed, before walking over to where her mirror was.

“What do you have that I don’t!!!” She yelled, reaching out for a scissors.

“I was just a step ahead to get you killed, but that fool ruined all of my plans. I should have known better..” she laughed like someone who had lost her mind and she began to cut her hair short.

“Maybe I should look like you. Copying you can make Nolan like me instead..” she smiled. Layla had Short hair, maybe Nolan loved women with short hair. She thought.

“Your family will suffer, Sarah. They will, I’ll make sure to kill your mother with my bare hands, arghh!!” She yelled, throwing her hair off the table.

“Layla!!!” She gritted her teeth as she wore a bitter look on her face, then she suddenly threw the scissors on the mirror which resulted in a crack.

“I’ll kill you. I must. You were so lucky this time, but next time, you won’t be..” she swore. Now she had to do something about the issue at hand.

“That fool left me in big trouble..” she uttered as she inhaled sharply.

There was no way she was not going to get caught, once Nolan began his investigation, she would definitely get caught, there was no escaping it.

“I’ll have to lay low for now and strike back when everything has calmed down..” she said as she thought hard on what to do about the situation.

“You’ll suffer in hell Sarah..” she smiled as the best idea suddenly came to her mind.

Someone was going to take the fall for her, another person would be blamed for this and she knew the right person for it.

A sinister smile appeared at the corner of her lips, she was going to be triumphant no matter what!?

Layla and Nolan walked about the food’s market as he showed her some places around.

“What’s this place called?” She asked.

“It’s called a Moon’s bounty, this is where you find delicious meals to buy..” he explained.

“It’s pretty” Layla admired.

“Visit here at night then you’ll know what pretty looks like..” a smile ghosted his face as she took her to a store.

“What’s this?” Layla asked as the lady was making a strange food she hadn’t seen before, but smelt nice.

“It’s called wolf’s meat..” Nolan replied and Layla had an amazed look on her face.

“What’s a wolf’s meat?” She asked.

“It’s a type of sausage made from a special blend of meats, including venison, rabbit, and other wild game. It is seasoned with herbs and spices that give it a slightly smoky, savory flavor. It’s cooked over an open fire, giving it a slightly crispy crust..” he explained as Layla took note of everything.

“Sounds delicious..” she smiled.

“Sure is..”

“Trust me dear, you’ll love it..” the lady at the store said and Layla smiled.

It seemed like they didn’t recognize their king, well that was a good thing to Layla as she didn’t want anyone to be intimidated by his presence.

“I’ll take one..” Layla requested and the lady proceeded to get Layla her portion.

“I guess you’re new around here..” she reasoned.

“Yes I am…” Layla replied.

“Then I can see you’re new here in the right pack. Enchanted moon is the best place to be…” she praised.

“How many do you need? Should I get it for your husband too?” She asked as Layla turned to face Nolan.

It felt kind of strange hearing the lady call him her husband, though they were mates, he hadn’t officially married her yet

“Yes, I’ll get two packages..” she replied as she remembered that nolan didn’t eat anything earlier, due to the incident that took place.,

“This will cost two gold coins..” she informed and Layla turned to face Nolan. She had no idea they used gold coins to trade here.

“Here’s your money..” Nolan dropped two gold coins in her palms as Layla collected the package from her.

“I never knew you guys traded with coins here..” she said as they walked to the next shop.

“We trade with coins and dollar notes. But the dollar notes are mostly used by the rich..” he explained as Layla shook her head slowly.

“I see..”

“What’s this?” She pointed at the strange berries that were looking straight at her.

“These are moonberries, they’re only grown here..” he explained.

“Can I have a taste?” She requested.

“Sure..”

“Excuse me..”Layla muttered as she plucked off the blue-light berry from the stem..”

“It only grows under the light of the full moon..” Nolan explained.

Layla slowly placed the berry into her mouth, as it was the first time she was tasting it.

“It’s good..” she praised. It tasted slightly sweet with a hint of tartness.

“I’ll take two branches..” Nolan informed the store keeper and she began to package their other.

“It’s really good..”

“Yeah, there’s lots of good stuff here..”

“I’m definitely going to have everything…” Layla announced happily. Enchanted moon pack was far more fun and resourceful than she had expected.
