“Hi Layla!!” Aurora waved as she walked into Layla’s hospital room with Xander.

“Aurora!!” Layla called happily, feeling delighted to see her.

“Oh my God, Layla. I’m so happy to see you” Aurora stated as she went ahead to hug Layla who hugged her back.

“Me too..” Layla said, her face beaming with smiles.

“How are you doing Layla?” Xander asked.

“I’m good…”

“I missed you girl..” Aurora pouted as she hugged Layla for the second time.

“Look what we’ve got you…” Aurora began as she showed Layla the basket she had brought along with her.

“What’s that?” Layla asked in anticipation, as she couldn’t wait to see what they got for her.

“Some supplements that you’ll need during your stay here. I brought you a cozy blanket, you’ll need it at night..” Aurora informed as she dropped the blanket on Layla’s laps.

“I also made your favorite dish…” she added.

“Really!!” Layla exclaimed as she smiled warmly.

“Yes, I made scrambled eggs with spinach, baked salmon with quinoa and broccoli. These are healthy foods that you need during your pregnancy..” she informed.

“Come on Aurora, this is too much, how did you expect me to eat all these? I’m getting discharged tomorrow..”

“I don’t care, eat till you get full. And that’s not all, I also brought you some snacks. I know you love fresh fruit like apples, pears and dark chocolate. I brought you all that..” she pointed out and Layla couldn’t help but to be amazed.

“Honestly, Aurora. These are too many…”

“Nothing’s too much for you babe..”

“I got your phone to keep you busy also..”

“Come on Aurora. I brought the phone myself..” Xander chimed in.

“Shut up! You don’t interfere in girls’ talk..” Aurora snapped playfully as she handed Layla’s phone to her.

“Thanks Xander. I really appreciate it..” she says putting the phone aside in a corner.

“It’s nothing…” he waved her off.

“I’ll put these aside..” Aurora announced as she kept the basket she had brought with her not too far from Layla’s reach.

“So Layla, back to business..” she began sitting on the bed close to Layla.

“How did you end up here?” She asked as she’d been meaning to ask how Layla fainted. She just had to wait for the perfect time.

“I fell down the stairs…” Layla replied slowly. She didn’t want to be a monster like Nolan, that’s why she refrained from telling the truth as she was sure within herself that Nolan will never dare raise his hands in her again.

She could see the guilt in his eyes.

“You fell down the stairs?” Aurora repeatedly gave her a questioning gaze.

“When did you start being so careless?” She asked.

“I felt dizzy and slipped, that’s all. I’m good now..” Layla assured.

“You should be more careful Layla, don’t forget that you’re pregnant. You should stop work immediately. I’ll talk to Nolan..” she stated as Layla chuckled at her over protectiveness.

“Um, I guess I’ll take my leave now..” Xander chimed in.

“Oh okay. Thanks for coming..”

“Anytime Layla, do take care of yourself..” he waved before making his way out. He had something to discuss with Nolan.

“It must be so boring around here..”Aurora reasoned as she glanced around the room. Layla was the only one admitted. She could only wonder how she coped being in a room alone.

“Aurora..” Layla began in a low tone.

“Hmm..” Aurora replied.

“There’s something I really need to tell you” Layla stated in a serious tone.

“So what you mean to say is that there’s something called Lycans?” Aurora asked with an uncertain look on her face.

“Yes,” Layla confirmed. She had decided to tell Aurora the whole truth and that she was leaving soon.

“And you’re a Luna which is technically the queen of the Lycans?” She asked again.

“Yes”

“And Nolan is the Alpha?”

“Yes”

“And you’re leaving soon to a place called ENCHANTED MOON , which is also called a pack for werewolves?”

“Yes”

“Wow!!” Aurora gasped in surprise as she couldn’t believe her ears, everything sounded like a fairy tale.

“I can’t believe this, oh my God” she exclaimed with an excited look on her face.

“So you’re mated to Nolan and have been living with him this whole while?”

“Yes I have.”

“Damn it! This is so cool, Layla!!” Aurora stated as she found it unable to believe, but there was no way Layla would lie to her.

“What? You’re not angry?” Layla sounded shocked as she had expected Aurora to be mad at her for hiding the truth.

“Why should I be angry girl. you must have had a reason for hiding this. I mean this is a huge secret, who would believe that Lycans and werewolves actually exist..” she gasped still in shock.

Layla didn’t expect Aurora to be that angry, she was kind of an adventure person and lived hearing about things like this.

“So who else is a Lycan? Is there anybody else?” She grilled gingerly.

“Yes, Xander is. He’s Nolan’s gamma..” Layla replied

“What!!!” She drew out in surprise, her mouth ajar.

“Tell me that’s a lie?” She shook Layla’s shoulders.

“It’s not. Please you can tell anyone about this Aurora ” Layla stated in a pleading tone.

“Are you kidding me?” Aurora chuckled.

“There is no way I’m telling anyone about this. I swear to God. It’s between you and I..” she swore and Layla breathed out in relief.

“Thanks Aurora ”

“Why are you thanking me? I should be the one thanking you..* she said in a serious tone.

“You just told me a very big news about something I thought was a fairytale. Fuck!” She cursed. She still found it very hard to believe. She can’t believe that Xander was a Lycan, Nolan too. Was that the reason they were so good looking?

“I have a favor to ask of you.” Layla began.

“Ask me anything ”

She’d just call him later in the day and explain something to him.

“I won’t, but you should tell him about your pregnancy already..” Aurora advised.

“I’ll tell him”

“Good! Layla can I accompany you to the pack?” Aurora asked as she wanted to see what it would look like.

“I don’t know, I’ll ask Nolan. Maybe something you’d visit me ”

“I’d be honored..” Aurora grinned as she hugged Layla tight.
