I couldn’t fathom how much happiness I felt. Edde was suddenly calm around me and seemed to be careful with whatever he did around me. I felt overly confident with myself and was happy that I won’t be treated like his asset again.

I gently pulled off the jumpsuit I wore as I watched him go through his phone. Now standing on my lingerie I lay back on the bed tiredly. Sometimes I get confused with how comfortable I am with being naked around Edde. Normally I should see it as a big deal that it is.

I yawned loudly as I stretched my hand and grabbed my phone “What are you doing so engrossed with your phone?” I asked, placing my head on the soft headboard.

“I am tryna order us dinner” he replied, still focused on his phone as I sighed.

“Don’t worry about that, I will fix something better for us” I said as he raised his eyes at me.

“There isn’t any food stuffs nor beverages in the fridge” he said as I hissed at his dumb response.

“We can simply go shopping, it is wrong for a home not to have food items” I said as I swung my legs down the bed and headed to the closet to get myself an outfit.

“And what the hell do you want to do?” He said coldly as he stood from the chair in a manner that got me scared as he matched towards me.

“I… I… I want…”

Dear lord, not me melting in his presence! “I want to get me a dress to wear” I said, gulping hard as he raised his brows at me.

“And when did I give you such permission, Elizabeth? Don’t think because you got my little weakness means you can fuck around and I will sit dumb watching you, Never… I will whoop your thick ass when necessary don’t dare me” He warned in the most scary manner pushing me aside as I stumbled back nearly falling and sitting my ass on the floor.

He brought out a hoodie and blue jean trousers as his eyes scanned through it “put this on…” He said throwing the clothes at me.

“You didn’t have to throw the clothes on me Edde, learn simple courtesy” I mumbled as he grabbed his car keys ignoring me.

“Meet me in the car” He said, swinging the key on his finger and walking through the exit.

I glared at his retreating back until he was out of view as I groaned loudly “Such a dry cunt!” I mumbled as I slid into the clothes, I turned to the mirror and smirked at my look. I looked like Billie, turning to my back view. I was happy that the hoodie covered my butt.

I took my phone and hurried out…

“You do not have to be scared of getting crowded by fans and all, this mall is well secured and such can’t happen” Edde assured as we held hands walking into the mall, definitely all eyes and camera’s where fixed on us, the attention we got here is more than the one we got in New York probably because here is his hometown.

I held tightly on Edde’s arms as we walked into the mall, luckily only few people noticed our presence hence they were all busy shopping, the special treatment we got from the mall attendants amazed me that I felt like Edde owned the mall.

“Go shop for fruits and veggies while I do beverages and the rest” I said tapping on Edde’s shoulders, the Attendant directed us to the section where we could find our needs which made shopping very easy.

“No way, this milk causes weight loss I don’t want that” I mumbled as I scanned my eyes through the racks while I pushed my half filled trolley “I would like to make pancakes tomorrow, it’s been quite long I baked” I said throwing two bags of floor into my trolley and continued my shopping humming random sounds that never existed.

“Hello Miss, I think you dropped this” I heard a husky British accent say from behind as I turned to see the brown undercut short haired Asian guy with pretty grey eyes, how does he look Asian and still have a British accent?

I gulped hard, waving my lustful thoughts to the back of my head as I looked down at his hand to see a $500 note making me gasp dipping my hand into my back pocket “Thanks so much! It must have fallen when I brought my phone out!” I Muttered taking the dollar bill from him gratefully, I have always warned myself not to go out without a bag or something, I am way too careless “Thanks once again” I said in a wide smile as he nodded smiling back at me.

“It’s really nothing to help damsel… I know you!” He said drumming his forehead trying to remember as I watched him marveled by how famous I have Become “Edde Loxley’s wife!? Nice to meet you! You really look more beautiful in reality” he complimented making me blush as we shook our hands.

“You’re a doctor? That’s nice then? I was planning to visit the hospital for antenatal care so maybe I could come to your hospital”.

“Oh! That isn’t a problem, I work in The Loxley’s preferred hospital so I am sure Edde will bring you” he said in a smile as I noticed that our hands were still interlocked together in a shake.

“What’s going on here?”

I turned to see Edde looking coldly at us with candy in his mouth, I smiled to ease the tension “Yeah Edde, this is…” I said, trying to recall his name.

“Hi sir, I am Alec” he introduced in a smile as Edde gazed coldly at him from head to toe obviously making the man uncomfortable as his eyes drifted to me.

“And what are you doing with him? Ain’t you supposed to be shopping and minding your business?” He asked, slightly raising his voice, that someone from the next lane could possibly hear us.

“Come on! Edde, this young man just helped me! I would have lost a 500 dollar note out of my carelessness” I explained hopefully he understands and not create a scene.

“Let’s go, I think we have shopped enough” He said as I turned to the young man who stood embarrassed by my side.

“Nice meeting you Alec” I said tapping his shoulder and pushed the trolley out making sure I picked whatever groceries I could see.

Edde paid for the items we bought as we made to the exit, we didn’t say a word to each other the atmosphere between us was choking and I felt so uncomfortable with his silence and occasional gaze, his eyes on me made me feel like I was melting down as I gulped the growing lump in my throat and staring into space to avoid his eyes.

While he drove I could hear him babbling words angrily as he drove recklessly maneuvering cars like he didn’t care about his life, I held tightly to myself scared with the pace he drove.

“Edde, what’s wrong with you! Slow down! Your speed level is high!” I yelled almost crying as he ignored me driving like a vagabond “Edde, please! Stop this. I don’t know what Is making you this angry but if I caused it I am sincerely sorry, I’m begging you to spare my life” I cried.

“What did I tell you about talking to other guys?” He said now slowing down his speed level.

“Edde, it was nothing serious! I already explained it to you! The young man only helped me” I yelled, wiping off my tears as Edde hit his fist hard on the steering wheel angrily.

“Shut the fuck you Elizabeth! I saw the closeness! The way you held his hand showed that you had something else in mind! You even had the guts to tell him goodbye in my presence like you already liked him!” He ranted angrily as he drove into the mansion.

“Edde, I don’t know what to say to you, you fucking have trust issues and I don’t think I can handle that!” I yelled stepping out of the car as I hurried into the building matching my leg up the stairs, getting to the room I slammed the door close and fell to the bed as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Edde is such a devil! How dare him risk my life all because of his dumb insecurity over me, does he really expect me to treat men like plague?

“Elizabeth!” I heard his thunderous voice yell my name as he pushed the door and slammed it hard behind him, the rage in his eyes got me so scared that I climbed up the bed “Elizabeth aside me has any man touched you!?” He asked as I raised my brows confused with his sudden question.

“Edde, I can’t answer that, what kinda question is that? I have the right to fuck around if I want we are not married for real! You’re just a rapist in form of a baby daddy that I mistakenly fell for, you expect me not to sleep with other cool men when you go around fucking women of different shapes and sizes!… Huh!? You’re such a selfish cunt!” I yelled as he landed a hard slap on my left and right cheeks that I could get the taste of blood in my mouth.

I could suddenly feel my head spinning as my view was upside-down just then everything around me turned blank.
