Psycho Boss And His Sassy Secretary

This time around, Jayden is the one who receives the shock. Initially, he thinks that telling Evelyn to cook for him in her house will make her give up. He thinks she will leave his office the moment he says “Cook for me”, but she proves him wrong. She agreed to cook for him. What is wrong with Evelyn?

Jayden gazes at her with a suspicious look.”Are you sure? Do you even understand what I just said? You are going to cook a meal for me, in your house,” He tells her.

Evelyn beams a sweet smile at him. He thinks that she looks more beautiful while smiling. Her smile is so real and gorgeous.

Jayden quickly cautions himself from thinking about her looks. That is the beginning of simping for her again.

“I am serious, Mr. Jayden. I am willing to cook for you if that is what you want,” She says, grinning from ear to ear.

He gives me a half-shrug.”Evelyn Jones, you know you told me about your bad culinary skills. You can’t cook, this lady. Don’t bother yourself and don’t waste my time also. You know my time is a – ”

She interrupts him.”Precious asset. Just give me the chance to prove to you that I can cook,”

He steals a glance at his wristwatch.”Damn! Evelyn, the – ”

“Chill, Mr. Jayden. We still have a lot of time for lunch,” She tries to convince him.

When she sees that he won’t give in to what she wants, she moves closer to him. The first thing she does is shut down the computer and clear all the files on the table.

Jayden is staring at her like she is doing magic. He doesn’t bother to stop her, he just stares at her with a blank look on his face.  It is obvious that his secretary is probably drunk or she is so happy today.

After she has arranged his table, she walks over to him and holds his hand.

“Please,” She begs him.

Something melts in his heart as she pleads with him, her eyes filled with desperation. He stares down at her pink lips, she is pouting her lips and she looks really cute. A cute little baby girl.

“Okay,” He finally agrees.

Her eyes lit up.”Thank you, Mr. Jayden. I am going to prove to you that I can be a good cook because of you,” She says happily.

Jayden grins. ‘I can be a good cook because of you, ‘. Wow! That sounds nice. She is going to enter the kitchen, despite how much she detests cooking because of him. Isn’t he lucky?

“You are going to eat the most delicious meal in the world today. You will be so happy and fulfilled, after eating a food cooked by me, ” Her sonorous voice jolts him out of his train of thought.

He smirks.”Let’s wait and see.”

Jayden concludes in his mind that he is indeed lucky.

“What do you want to cook for me?” Jayden asks her, alighting from his car.

Evelyn winks at him.”Let’s go in first. Shall we?”

The wink almost seems like she is probably flirting with him, but she is not. It is just a playful wink.

Both of them leave the parking lot in her house and walk into the living room. Nanny Cleo is the one who opens the door for them and they exchange greetings with her.

“Hope everything is okay, Eve?” Nanny Cleo asks her.

She is worried that Eve will come home early with her boss.

“Everything is okay.  I just want to cook for my boss,” Evelyn replies.

Nanny Cleo steals a glance at the so-called boss, then her eyes flicker back at Evelyn. She almost thinks that something is going on between Evelyn and her boss. It is rare for Eve to cook, in fact, it has been a long since she reached the kitchen. Evelyn has never cooked for her boyfriend or her parents before. How come she wants to cook for her handsome boss? Hope nothing is going on between them. Well, Evelyn is not that type of person. She is very loyal to her boyfriend. Perhaps, she and her boss are just close friends.

“Where is Sky?”Evelyn questions.

“She went out. She told me she wants to go on a stroll,” Nanny Cleo answers.

Evelyn heaves a sigh of relief. She wishes that her cousin won’t come back from her stroll till they go back to work. She doesn’t want Jayden to witness her cousin’s craziness. Skylar can change into a different human being because of social media. The obsession is so real.

Evelyn turns to her boss, who is sitting quietly on the couch.”Can you give me a few minutes? I need to pull off this shirt. And, I’m going to cook spaghetti bolognese,” She says and runs to her room.

Jayden stares at her as she runs upstairs. She has such an interesting personality but is kind of crazy. He knows that she made those offers, so she can apologize for the shopping mall incident. Well, it works. He doesn’t really feel like ignoring her anymore.

Evelyn comes downstairs, after a few minutes ago. She only changes her shirt to an oversized t-shirt. Both of them go to the kitchen and the cooking starts.

“Give the spoon to me. Let me just cook this thing. You are a pathetic cook,” Jayden says to her.

“No!” She snaps at her.”Tell me, can’t you smell the sweet aroma of the meal?”

He shakes his head.”I can’t smell anything, except the beautiful scent of your perfume. It smells really nice and exotic,”

Jayden doesn’t know that the little thing he said is enough to make her blush. Evelyn’s cheeks turn pink. She is blushing really hard. The perfume she used is a gift from Marina. Soon, they finish making the spaghetti bolognese. It is ‘they’ not ‘she’ because Jayden eventually helped her.

Jayden goes to the dining room, while she sets the table.

“Say ‘thank you’ before you start eating, Evelyn,” Jayden tells her with an arrogant smirk on his face.

Evelyn frowns.”Why should I say ‘thank you’? We literally cooked the – ”

The sound of the doorbell interrupts her. Evelyn sighs. It may be her cousin. She walks there and opens the door. She is right. It is Skylar.

“What are you doing at home?” Skylar asks with surprise-filled in her tone.

Evelyn shrugs.”Cooking and eating.”

Skylar notices the figure sitting in the dining room. She can’t see the person’s face, his back is turned to her.

“Who is that?” She whispers.

“My boss,” Evelyn replies.

Skylar grins.”Wow! Introduce me to him, beautiful cousin,”
