Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1944

Chapter 1944

When Tina and Bill went downstairs, they saw that the others were busy chatting in the living room.

They could hear Wilson's deep voice, Old Master Amery's laughter and, from time to time, Isla's childish words.

Tina asked with a smile, "What are you talking about?"

Wilson replied, "I'm talking about our wedding ceremony with Grandpa."

The way he called Old Master Amery "Grandpa" was natural and smooth.

After the two of them entered the mansion of the Amery Family, Tina told the elders that they had gotten married, and the registration procedures with the Civil Affairs Bureau had been finished. After that, Wilson directly called Bill "Dad", Old Master Amery "Grandpa", and Lin "Mom".

Of course, he called Old Madam Amery "Grandma", just like Tina did.

Hearing this, Old Madam Amery was so angry that her mouth almost twisted.

If it weren't for the fact that she wanted to play games with Isla, she would have ignored all the others in the living room and returned to her bedroom directly.

Wilson raised the corners of his lips slightly. "The wedding ceremony will be held in October, but I won't tell you the details, lest you don't get a surprise at that time!"

Old Master Amery echoed kindly, "Haha... That's right."

Hearing that, Tina blinked her eyes. She hadn't expected that details of the wedding ceremony would be kept a secret from her.

This made her look forward to it even more.

Lin looked at her husband with a smile. "You and your daughter have stayed in the study for so long. What did you talk about?"

Bill paused for a while and looked at Tina. The latter nodded slightly. Bill said, "Dad, I have something to tell you." Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Old Master Amery nodded. "Alright."

Bill said, "I'm going to arrange for Tina to work for the Amery Group."

Before Old Master Amery could say anything, Old Madam Amery exclaimed in a low voice, "She's going to work for our company?"

Old Madam Amery frowned and continued. "She has a job in the TV station, and she also has a designer's studio. How can she have enough spare time to work for our company? Besides, she doesn't know anything about business. What can she do if she works for our company?"

It was true. Tina didn't know how to do business.

Her major was apparel design while she was in college, and her dream at that time was to become a fashion designer after graduation. However, she finally found a job in the TV station, so she was actually quite familiar with the aforesaid two fields. Old Madam Amery's saying was right. Tina didn't know anything about business.

However, this decision was made by Bill after discussing with Tina in the study.

Of course, Tina had never thought of putting all her stakes in the company.

Bill explained, "There is still a year before Tina's service contract with the TV station expires, but the editor-in-chief had noticed her performance in apparel design. He talked to Tina before and suggested that it would be possible to cancel the service contract in advance. As for the design

studio, Tina would only be responsible for the design work, which won't cost her much time. It's therefore suitable for Tina to work for our company."

Seeing that Old Madam Amery was still frowning, Bill continued, "As for the business, although Tina doesn't know much about it, she can still learn it step by step help, and Wilson can help her."

Old Master Amery said, "It's up to you. Tina is my grandaughter. It's natural for her to work for the company!"

Old Madam Amery originally wanted to question Bill's decision, but after she heard the Old Master's words, she knew that the final decision had been made, and it would be useless for her to intervene.

...

In the afternoon, white clouds were floating in the sky.

Old Madam Amery and Abby were to meet at a cafe.

After dressing up, Abby set off earlily. She waited for the Old Madam at the cafe.

Old Madam Amery asked the driver to carry a lot of shopping bags and put them on the chair. The Old Madam had ordered one of the servants of the Amery family to buy them. These were all products of luxury brands, which Abby liked most.

Every time when the two of them met outside of the Amery family, Old Madam Amery would often bring a lot of foodstuff and clothing for Abby.

Although the Old Madam had given Abby a bank card with a large amount of money deposited in it, she still didn't want Abby to feel anything uncomfortable living outside alone.

Abby said, "Thank you, Grandma. I like them very much!"

She looked at these gifts and found that they were exactly what she wanted.

She also knew that Old Madam Amery doted on her very much.

However, what Abby wanted were not just these things.

Old Madam Amery's temper was bad, and she was only kind to Abby in her daily life, because it was the Old Madam who brought up Abby. She usually liked to chat with Abby at home. But now Abby was not living in the Amery family, the Old Madam felt lonesome and had lots of things to complain about.

Now that Old Madam Amery had a good opportunities to complain to somebody, she snorted and said, "The two of them came to our house and said that they had already gotten their marriage certificate! She got married to Amin not long ago. Now she's marrying another man... What's shame! She said her marriage with Amin was only an agreement. Who knows... And she said they were preparing for the wedding ceremony!"

A beam of cold light flashed across Abby's eyes.

It seemed to be within her expectation that she would hear the news that Tina and Wilson had registered their marriage.

Abby had failed to break up the love relationship of Tina and Wilson, and she also knew that the so- called marriage between Tina and Amin was just a nominal one. Sooner or later, Tina and Wilson would become lovers again.

However, after she was informed of the fact, Abby's heart was still filled with hatred.

Old Madam Amery also recalled another thing that she wanted to complain about. She said directly, "Besides, your uncle said that he would let Tina find a job in our company!"

Abby raised her voice. "What?"

Upon hearing this, Abby was so shocked that she almost lost her composure.

Old Madam Amery curled her lips up as if she had found a reliable ally. She said, "You're surprised to hear that, right? So was I. Tina Hall is different from you. She works as a reporter at the TV station, and she also does apparel design occasionally. How can she understand the twists and turns of the business world? But you understand business! After all, while you were studying abroad, your major was business management!"

Abby gritted her teeth and asked, "Has uncle made up his mind? Does Grandpa agrees with him?"

"Yes." Old Madam Amery nodded and took a sip of coffee. Feeling bitter, she frowned and quickly put the cup of coffee aside. She continued arrogantly, "I originally thought it was sheer nonsense. However, since Tina is still an offspring of the Amery family, it is not ridiculous for her to work for our company. I won't oppose them in this regard!"

Abby drooped her beautiful eyes, and her face was a little stiff.

This piece of news was just like a bolt of lightning that struck her on a sunny day.

The next day, in the Amery's Group...

After Abby finished a meeting, she came out of the meeting room and happened to see Tina walking out of the elevator with Bill.

It seemed that Bill was personally leading Tina to familiarize herself with the environment.

Abby remembered that she had never been treated like this by Bill when she became a new employee of the Amery's Group.

After all, even though she had lived in the Amery family since she was a child, she was still different from Bill's biological daughter.

Bill had arranged a position for Tina in the company, which was almost the same as Abby's. The vice president of one of the departments was transferred to a new position, and Tina would temporarily replace him.

Abby was in a bad mood all day.

When she went to the bathroom, she overheard the gossip of some female employees behind the door.

Ever since Tina became a new employee, the atmosphere of the company seemed to have changed.

"Vice President Tina Hall of the finance department, who had just been designated to this posotion today... You must respect her and try not to offend her!"

"What's the background of Tina Hall? Is there any inside story?"

"It's not inside story. Do you know who she is? She is the real daughter of Bill Amery, our boss... The biological daughter of him. Do you understand what does this mean? The whole Amery's Group will be Tina Hall's someday in the future!"

"What about Abby Amery?"

"She's just a niece of Chairman Amery. Can she compare with his own daughter?"

...

The gossip gradually diminished as the female employees walked away.

Abby's hand was still gripping the door handle tightly, and some of her fingernails were even broken because of the strength of her handgrip. Her face, which was often dignified and smiling, was now ferocious and distorted.
