Pyke

Chapter 6

Chapter 6

PYKE

Un-fucking-believable!

Of all the 49.6% of the world’s population, why does Camila has to be Kyland’s cousin? Why? The hot cantankerous is my friend’s cousin. This is going to be a disaster.

She’s gonna be my disaster!

I value my friendship with Kyland, but I can’t let Xandry win without a fight. The thought of fucking her behind Kyland’s back makes my stomach knot sickly. How am I going to deal with her if she hates my gut? How will I ever win in this stupid bet? And because of that woman, I’m going to lose some cash.

I feel a sudden gush of guilt. All I think is my ego and money. Money is not a problem though, I have plenty of them, but my concern is Camila. She will despise me, loathe me, and burn me alive if she will find out about this thing going on between me and Xandry.

I never beg for a fuck. I am used to flirting with women, and we usually ended up with mind-blowing orgasms. It’s just not me to wine and dine, watch movies, or take them to a football match, or discuss a baseball game with them.

Just the thought of asking Camila for a date makes me flinch. She’s worth an expensive dinner date, but Kyland won’t be pleased, and he will break every bone in me if he gets a chance. He will know that I have ulterior motives. He knows me well that I have no interest in dating and having a girlfriend other than just getting laid.

I take a hot shower to relax my tense muscles. I am supposed to be banging someone, but I have to wait until my Apa heals completely.

I get into my bed naked; that’s how I sleep. Why bother to wear something when I’m alone in my own apartment?

I close my eyes, hoping to get good sleep, but Camila’s face comes to me like a flashback. I groan louder than necessary because this never happened to me before even if I enjoyed the best orgasm with a woman, and the worse thing is I didn’t even fuck Camila. The thought of my dick balls deep in her warm pussy jerks my bare cock.

This is torture!

Why I even bother getting a piercing when I can’t even last night without being buried deep in woman’s hot pussy? I’m tempted to jerk off, but it may bleed and gives me more problems.

I pick up my phone on my nightstand and check the time. It’s four in the morning. It suddenly vibrates in my hand. Who’s awake at this moment?

It’s Kyland. What does he want at this time? I want his cousin and not him for fuck sake.

Camila didn’t talk much throughout the ride so, I didn’t bother her. The last thing I want is scaring her away, but it didn’t go unnoticed that she was tensed and uncomfortable being alone with me.

But shit if it wasn’t tortured to be with a hot woman in my passenger seat, but I couldn’t even run my fingers on her smooth exposed thighs. There was a time when her breathing quickened. Did she have some dirty thoughts about me as well?

I know she finds me attractive, but we met at the very least expected circumstance. She might have agreed with me if I ever invited her. I can see it in her eyes, though she’s an expert covering it with her evilly stares.

“Wright?”

“Sorry to wake you up, man.”

“Wright, you should have known by now if I’m sleeping or not,” I bark.

He laughs. “I know, Hughes. Sorry for disturbing your sleep, but my stupid cousin probably dropped her phone in your car. I tried calling it, but it went to her voicemail.”

My lips turn into a smirk. The wheels in my brain start spinning. “Really? Or she did it on purpose.”

“I didn’t do that on purpose!” she yells.

This call may be on speaker. Of course, she’s listening.

“Oh, yeah? How clumsy of you? How could you drop your phone in my car? You could’ve just said so if you want another ride.” But I want you to ride something else.

“I’m not sure if I dropped it in your car or could be somewhere else, idiot!” I can feel her eyes rolling.

Kyland is warning her.

“Do I need to check it now?”

“No no no, but if you happen to find it, just give it to Kyland tonight. Thanks!”

My brow cocks. That’s the first time she says something nice. She didn’t even thank me for sending her home. She’s so pest.

“Wow, that’s the best thing I’ve ever heard from you so far,” I reply. It’s nearly impossible to hear it from her again so I take the chance to play nice.

“Well, don’t expect more.” I can hear now the smile in her voice.

“Remember, I have your phone, babe. Unless you want to buy a new one?”

“We’re not even sure if my phone is really in your car,” she retorts.

“What if it’s in there, will you ever be nice to me?” I ask, half-serious.

“If you know how to treat a lady.”

My lips spread into a wide smile. This is the first time I have a good conversation with Camila since I met her. It’s surprisingly good talking to her without her annoying, sarcastic, and smart big mouth.

“I know how to treat a lady just right. Give me a chance, woman.”

“Stop flirting with my cousin, Hughes, or I’ll cut your dick off!”

I groan inwardly when I hear Kyland’s irritated voice butting in. I forget it’s his phone Camila is using to talk to me.

“We are not flirting,” Camila snarls.

“Then that’s enough. You said what you want. Now, go to bed. I’ll give your phone as soon as Hughes hands it to me.”

Kyland is a strict and protective sonofabitch. I will be if I am in his position because Camila is attractive and beautiful. I am not wondering why he never brings Camila to the club because I would probably meet her then. But our stars were aligned that night, and now I am in trouble.

Don’t expect it, Wright. I already have a plan in my mind.

I can’t blame him for being overprotective to Cam. Kyland knows my rep over women, but there is something inside me fills with displeasure. It’s freaking the hell out of me.

“Good night, Cam,” that’s all I have to say. For now.

“See you tonight, man.”

I check my car’s front seat for Cam’s phone. It’s indeed here. I grab her it, pressing the power button, but the battery must have been drained. I plug it into my charger and leave it there.

I had dinner with Dad at one of the restaurants owned by King. Just like the usual, Paul Hughes asked about my business. He mentioned if I have a plan on expanding my club. I was thinking about it, but it didn’t come up with a real plan.

It’s already ten in the evening when I get to my office. I know what I’m doing is not right, but good Lord in heaven bless me with my plan, and I hope it will work.

I place the stocks of paper on my desk; mostly receipts and some order slip for the stocks. I hear a soft knock before I can even start. I huff a large breath and lean back against my chair.

“Come in.”

The door swings open, revealing the hot as hell of my cantankerous. She looks good to eat in just a dark pair of skin-tight jeans and a white sleeveless crop top with fuck-me-high heels. Her hair falls down her shoulders in large curls. She has light makeup with a cherry red lip gloss.

I lick my lips absentmindedly in anticipation.

She’s in a good mood tonight because she gives me a polite smile, then gets inside, closing the door behind her. She releases a sigh.

“I’m asking someone to clean this room every day. It’s germ and mecos free.” Camila seems a Latina name, and she probably knows what mecos means.

Her body freezes. Clearly, she’s not expecting me to be blunt with her. Now she’s with me again. Alone. I can be as blunt as I want to be.

She clears her throat. “I didn’t come to judge your office.”

Okay?

She surprises me. She seems nicer today or she’s just being polite because I have something that belongs to her?

“You disappoint me. I came prepared to hear your bickering, Camila.” I smirk. “Have a seat.” I gesture to the black leather couch then link my fingers together.

I can see the hesitation in her reaction.

“Do you want me to disinfect that myself?”

She rolls her eyes and finally takes her seat. “Can I have my phone now?” Straight to the point and eager to get herself out of here, I see.

I get it. This is a better idea though because I’m not sure how long can I get ahold of myself to not run my thumb and feel the softness of her tempting lips.

“Does Wright know you’re here tonight?”

“Yes, I came with Kill,” she says, nodding.

“Can I get you something to drink?”

“No, thanks.”

“Why Kill?” I ask out of curiosity.

She gives me a dull look. “When I was a baby I couldn’t talk straight like other kids of my age,” she starts. “Kyland’s name has only two syllables, but I found it difficult to say until I got stuck to calling him Kill.” Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

I can’t imagine her being a kid who can’t talk straight because if my memory serves right she talked like she was in a political debate. I chuckle and that makes her eyes narrow.

“I just find it hard to believe,” I tell her honestly.

“I talk straight by myself, but not until I was six. I start to read books at the age of four, so I read loudly to practice my speech but Kyland’s name remained to me as Kill until now.”

I admire her determination to talk straight without the help of an expert. I’ve no doubt they could afford to get a speech-language pathology that time, but perhaps practicing on her own amazed me.

I find myself nodding slowly.

She breaks her gaze on me, looks down, and starts playing the purse in her hand.

My traitor of a cock stirs when my eyes see her licking her lips.

Shit!

A few seconds pass and still, none of us start to talk again.

I clear my throat to break the silence stretching between us because all I can hear is my own breathing and my frantic heartbeat. Our eyes meet for the second time. I know she’s nervous, but she wants to

take her phone back. But not yet. Let her suffer for a little while—that serves as her punishment for hitting my face.

Her slightly parted lips are tempting, and I want to crush mine into hers so bad that I have to clench my jaw. I wonder how do her lips taste like, like a cherry? Are they soft like how they look right now? How does it feel kissing Camila?

“Pyke?”

I blink and push back the thought of kissing this woman in front of me.

“Yeah.”

“My phone.” Camila extends her hand.

“I don’t have your phone,” I lie.

“What?” she squeals. “Why did you tell Kyland you have it?” Her eyes narrow like a hawk ready to catch its prey.

“Calm down,” I say coolly.

“Calm down? You want me to calm down? I came here expecting to have my phone back, and all you have to say is to calm down? You clearly just wanted to play with me!” Her jaw clenches. Her chest rises and falls. She looks angrier than ever.

Christ!

“Then you should not leave your things unattended, babe.”

“It was not intentional.”

“I bet it wasn’t.”

“You wasted my time. I need to get out from here before I will hit you with my shoe,” she declares, stomping to the door.

“Wait.” I am on my feet before she can grab the doorknob.

“What?”

“Fine. I have your phone.”
