Rejected Luna Queen

Chapter 25

Rowan’s POV

As we stroll through the palace, the grandeur of our surroundings is almost overwhelming, but my focus is on Nora. The ornate bulls, adorned with rich tapestries and opulent chandeliers, are a backdrop to her striking presence.

Her hair catches the light, shimmering with each step we take. Despite the elegance of the palace, it’s her commanding presence that truly draws

my attention.

Nora walks with a confidence that borders on arrogance, her posture straight and her head held high.

As we pass the servants, her sharp words and dismissive gestures reveal a side of her that others might find off–putting. But I have ahrays admired it since we were younger. So hot.

“Mind your step, girl,” she stops at a maid who brushes too close, her tone cutting through the air like a whip. The maid flinches, her eyes downcast

I glance at Nora, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. You certainly have a way with words.”

She smirks, a glint of mischief in her eyes. They need to leam their place.

A footman, bowing deeply, approaches us with a tray of refreshments “Would you care for some tea, Your Highness?

Nora gives him a cursory glance before turning away, dismissing him with a wave of her hand. I have no need for your offerings. Be gone.”

The footman’s expression tightens, but he bows again and retreats, leaving us in silence.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

me out of the corner of her eye. “Oh! And why is that?”

“Because,” I say, matching her stride, it shows your strength, your unapologetic nature. It’s something I find captivating”

She chuckles, a sound like rinkling bells amidst the grandeur of the palace. “Flattery will get you everywhere, my dear friend.

But beneath the jest. I can sense the truth in her words. In her, I find a kindred spirit, someone unafraid to wield their power, even if it means. ruthing a few feathers along the way.

And as we continue our stroll through the palace, I find myself drawn to her more and more, grateful for the bond that binds us together in this world of luxury and splendor.

We walk through the palace, surrounded by opulence and grandeur, I feel a sudden surge of desire for Nora. Her presence overwhelms my senses, her every movement a tantalizing invitation

Our lips meet in a fierce, passionate kiss, igniting a fire that burns hotter with each passing moment. It’s as if she’s everywhere at once, fillin senses with her intoxicating presence.

Her hands find their way to my hair, pulling me closer as she responds with equal fervor. The world falls away around us, leaving only the heat of our bodies pressed together, the taste of her lips driving me to the brink of madness.

At that moment, there was no palace, no servants, no rules to bind us. There is only Nora, and the overwhelming need to be closer to her, to lose myself in the depths of her passion

And as we cling to each other, lost in a whirlwind of desire. I know that she is everywhere I want to be, now and forever.

The intensity of the moment between you and Nora peaks, a sudden interruption shatters the air. Nolan, materializes seemingly out of thin air, standing a few feet away, his presence unexpected yet palpable.

He clears his throat loudly, a sound that cuts through the intimacy like a knife, causing both me and Nora to break apart, my gaze shifting to him in surprise.

Nolan stands there, a faint smirk playing on his lips, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He’s always had a knack for timing, for appearing our of nowhere just when things are getting interesting

Dressed impeccably as always, he looks every bit the nobleman, though his casual demeanor betrays his true nature. One would believe he was the true king at this moment.

12:00 PM

“Am I interrupting something?” he asks, his tone laced with annisement.

“Not at all, brother.” I reply, trying to regain my composure. “What brings you here?”

Nolan’s smirk widens as he takes in the scene before him. “Ols, I just thought I’d check in on my dear sibling that left all the palace work on me. And

seems I’ve stumbled upon quite the… intriguing moment”

Texchange a glance with Nora, who raises an eyebrow in amusement. Despite the interruption, there’s a glint of mischief in her eyes, a silent challenge to see how I handle the situation. She doesn’t know that I have shared a woman with my brother. Not once.

This is nothing.

With a sigh, I step closer to Nora, trying to compose myself. “Well, you’ve seen enough. I suppose. Shall we continue our stroll!”

Nolan chuckles, stepping closer. “By all means, don’t let me stop you. Just try to keep it a bit more.. private next time, hmm?”

As I resume my walk, Nolan falls into step beside me and Norn, a knowing smile on his face. It seems my brother has a knack for surprises, and I can’t help but wonder what other tricks he has up his sleeve today

Nolan. Nora and 1 continue our stroll through the palace, the unexpected encounter with my mother adds another layer of complexity to the

moment.

There she stands, elegant even in a simple robe, her expression one of mild surprise as she stumbles hack, caught off guard by the unexpected meeting

“Mother,” I say, a hint of amusement in my voice as I reach out to steady her. “Are you alright?”

She straightens herself, offering a warm smile in return. “Oh, just a little startled, dear. I seem to have a talent for humping into things lately”

I can’t help but chuckle at her understatement. It’s become something of a running joke in the palace, her frequent encounters with door frames and random objects.

Whether it’s due to a faulty door or simply her own distraction, it’s sad to say, but it’s certainly become a familiar sight.

“I think it’s the door’s fault this time,” Nolan quips, earning a playful swat on the arm from my mother.

She laughs, the sound echoing through the corridor. “Blame it on the door, why don’t you? But I must apologize for the interruption. I was just on my way to change my chamber.”

Nora, ever observant, watches my mother with a subile curiosity, her gaze lingering for a moment longer than necessary. I can’t blame her; my mother has always been beautiful, her grace and poise a testament to her upbringing

“It’s quite alright, Mother, 1 assure her, glancing at Nora before turning back to my mother. “We were just enjoying a stroll through the palace.

My mother’s eyes twinkle with amnisement as she looks between Nora and me. “Ah, young love. It’s a beautiful thing”

Nora’s presence beside me feels like a secret I’m not quite ready to share, but with my mother’s knowing smile, it’s clear that some secrets are meant to be discovered.

But it’s clear at the same time my mother doesn’t approve of Nora despite knowing her for years. I don’t know why she still thinks we need Nesta in our lives. A fucking boney thing.
