Richest Mogul 939

Chapter 939

Joe was right. Which part of him had she never seen?

Skylar pulled his pants down quickly and turned away.

She had seen everything, but this was a little too embarrassing.

After a while, Joe said, “I’m done.”

Skylar quickly helps him wear his pants. Thankfully, he was wearing scrub pants. She didn’t need to tie his pants for him.

After that, Joe got back into bed and fell asleep.

Skylar was still rather concerned. She touched his forehead to check his

temperature. Then only did she cease her concern and lay down on the neighboring bed.

When she woke up the next day, Joe hadn’t woken up. The sun had just begun to rise at six in the morning.

Skylar had taken two days off from work. Now that Joe was hurt, their Fachington holiday would be canceled or postponed.

She freshened up in the washroom and snuck out of the room. Skylar planned to buy breakfast from the hospital canteen. Yet, before she could leave, she saw Paul waiting by the door.

“When did you arrive?”

“Half an hour ago. I was scared I’d disturb you and Mr. Martin, so I kept silent. I bought some clothes last night. If Mr. Martin dislikes the hospital scrubs, he can put these on. I brought breakfast as well. I split them up. He needs to be on a diet.”

Skylar smiled. Paul had made arrangements for everything. “Perfect. I was just about to head to the canteen. Thank you.”

“Then, I’ll be taking my leave to the company. I will leave Mr. Martin in your good hands. Call me if you need anything. Oh, yes. Mrs. Martin Senior said that some of the family will be coming over later,” Paul said.

Joe was about to act against them, and Paul needed to carry out Joe’s orders. Just the thought of it made his blood boil. How could they have dared to hurt Joe?

They needed to be taught a lesson! If he didn’t teach them a harsh lesson, they

would only get even braver with their advances.

Skylar nodded and said, “Alright, got it.”

When Paul left, Skylar opened the door with breakfast in hand. She tiptoed into the

room.

Joe was still asleep. This was the first time she’d seen him so deeply asleep. They’d lived together for a long time, so Skylar knew how sensitive he was. In the morning, he would wake up the second he heard any noise in the room.

It was also the first time she’d seen Joe so weak. She wanted to protect him.

Skylar checked her phone. Natalie had texted her a lot last night. However, she didn’t have time to read or reply to them.

Now that she was free, she converted the voice messages to texts.

“Skylar, what time are you arriving? Once you’re here, I’ll take you on a tour of the city! I’ve told Mr. Powell I’ll be taking time off. He knows you’re coming and has proposed for everyone to meet up for a chat.

“Right, didn’t I tell you how Jeremy and Helena had come to Fachington too? They left a few days ago. Skylar, I can’t get a read on Jeremy. I have no idea what he’s thinking. He’s going on holiday with Helena. Yet, he says he wants to marry me again “Whatever. No matter what he thinks or does, I won’t be meeting him much. Besides, we’ve known each other for years and once loved each other deeply. I don’t want things to end like this between us. Skye, I miss you so much! Come quickly!”

After going through all of them, she replied, Something happened. I’ve got to postpone my trip to Fachington. I’ll await your return in Jipsburg.”

She’d just finished responding to Natalie when she felt eyes on her.

Skylar immediately looked up. Joe was watching her. He must’ve woken up for a while. His eyes were completely clear. There was no trace of drowsiness in his gaze.
