Salute To The General

Chapter 3087

Chapter 3087

Nathan walked up to the Holy Army.

He gazed at the majestic Holy Army comprising fifty thousand Holy Knights who wore tough armor and wielded razor-sharp weapons while they huddled together in a row to form a human barricade.

Nathan uttered slowly, "What an impressive human barrier."

Milo, Daveth, and the others who were standing nearby couldn't help but smile smugly upon hearing Nathan's lament.

They thought he felt helpless and discouraged after witnessing their grand formation.

Amidst their smugness and anticipation to see Nathan make a fool of himself, the latter's cold voice suddenly rang out. "Still, have I given you all permission to block my way? You all may have obstructed the way forward, but I, Nathan Cross, can create my own path."

With that, he raised his left foot and stepped forward.

Boom!

When his left foot made contact with the floor, the ground collapsed, and the earth shook.

A shock wave erupted beneath Nathan's foot and spread toward the surroundings.

Those Holy Knights standing before Nathan were the first to be impacted.

Over ten people were blown into the air by the gust beneath their feet and fell heavily to the ground.

Most of the people staggered, losing their balance.

The initially indestructible human barricade was breached soon after Nathan unleashed his Grumbling Earth skill. Not only that, the barricade formation even turned into an unstable mess, seemingly about to fall apart at any time.

What?

Milo, Daveth, and the others stared at the scene unfolding before their eyes in utter disbelief.

The turn of events was beyond astonishing.

They couldn't believe a single man was capable of disrupting an army.

While they were still caught up in a daze and yet to regain their senses, Nathan was already striding ahead.

The earth trembled with every step he took.

All the enemies standing in his way were sent flying backward.

Those who managed to keep their feet on the ground stumbled in disorder due to the intense vibrations.

Nathan had managed to force his way through the originally unbreakable human barricade.

Meanwhile, Eugene IV sat on the throne inside the Curia's palace.

The Ten Elders, the Holy Maiden, the War Gods of the Light, and the Holy Guardians were positioned around Eugene IV according to their statuses, some standing while some were seated.

As they chatted happily, someone asked mockingly if Nathan would be able to enter the palace.

All of a sudden, everyone felt the ground shaking.

The building trembled slightly and ripples formed on the surfaces of the liquids inside the glasses that were placed on the table.

The color drained from everyone's faces as fear washed over them.

The crown on Eugene IV's head almost fell off. He hurriedly straightened his crown and questioned those around him in exasperation, "What's happening? What's going on?"

"Could it be an earthquake?" The crowd was shocked and baffled.

A Holy Knight rushed into the hall, knelt on one knee, and uttered with a trembling voice, "Pope Eugene, it's Nathan. He's forcing his way here He's single-handedly wreaking

havoc on the large army, Re

earth to shudder wherever he goes. The Holy Knights are all defeated, and no one can stop him."

What?

Eugene IV was stunned speechless.

The elders, cardinals, War Gods, Holy Guardians, and the Holy Maiden were also taken aback.

They couldn't believe Nathan could overpower an army of fifty thousand soldiers.

How terrifying!

At that moment, Eugene IV was dumbstruck and wore an incredulous look on his face.

A thought flashed across his mind. He's the chosen one. That guy is indeed chosen by the heavens. His capabilities are too shocking.

After putting a lot of effort into pulling himself together, Eugene IV said solemnly, "Monitor the situation outside closely and keep me updated."

"Understood, Pope Eugene."

The Holy Knight hurriedly retreated.

Eugene IV regarded the crowd with a

grimace and uttered, "Nathan's

insufficient to halt him. What do all of you think of this?"

The leader of the Ten Elders, Baccio, snorted. "Nathan is able to triumph over the Curia's fifty-thousand-strong army because we ordered our warriors not to harm him. I reckon Nathan must've seized this advantage to drive our warriors into submitting to him. Even if he breaks through the first obstacle, there is no way he can pass the second hurdle."

Upon hearing that, Eugene IV bobbed his head slightly and said, "Okay. We'll see."
