Chapter 521 Changed Tactics
Chapter 521 Changed Tactics
Jack and Yanis went out.
Alice was really tired. She didn't sleep well last night, and she had got a stiff neck during a nap today
and her neck hurt right now.
After being quiet all around, Alice lay on the sofa and soon fell asleep.
In her dream she walked into a forest.
The forest was full of fog, and she couldn't see the way around.
Alice stood in the middle, she was at a loss.
What's going on here?
"Who did you have that child with?
Suddenly, a cold male voice came from all directions, and Alice was startled. She turned her head back
abruptly and tried to find the person who made the sound.
But there was no one.
"What have you done in the past five years?" The male voice was getting closer and closer. It was so
overbearing that her almost unable to lift her head.
She didn't do anything wrong. However, she stepped back under great pressure for some
unaccountable reason.
Suddenly, there seemed to be something hard hit her in the back.
Alice turned her head and saw a handsome face that was cold and determined.
"Oh! It's you!" Alice exclaimed, and turned to escape.
The man's hand was wrapped around her slender waist like an iron chain, and then his other hand
pressed her shoulder, trapping her between the tree and his embrace.
Kennedy in her dream was not gentle at all.
It was completely different from him under the tree at the entrance of the hospital.
Alice felt her back pressed against the rough tree pole, and the bark made her back hurt. The man in
front of her had hatred in his eyes, and he looked furious.
"Answer my question!" he snapped.
Alice lowered her eyes. She was too nervous to speak.
Kennedy pinched her chin, and forced her to look up at him.
"Say! Who is the child's father? Who the hell did you have a baby with behind my back?"
"Let go of me!" Alice was so angry that she wanted to push him away, but she couldn't. The Kennedy's
hands were like a nightmare around her, and Alice yelled directly, "Are you insane? I was pregnant five
years ago, and you knew it at the time, this child..."
She hadn't finished her words yet, and Kennedy in front of her seemed to be looking at her in
astonishment because of what she said.
After a while, he gritted his teeth and squeezed her chin again, "The child's father is the man before?
Damn! You really gave birth to the child! Why are you so shameless?"
Alice, "...Let me go!"
Regardless of what she said, Kennedy's cold, emotionless lips pressed down without warning.
He kissed a little hard, and his teeth cut her lips.
The kiss between them was tinged with blood.
This kiss... was not tender at all.
Yes, it was rude, reckless. Alice didn't want it!
"No!"
Alice screamed and opened her eyes. What she saw was a snow-white ceiling. The crystal chandelier
hanging not far away also came into view.
After being in a daze for a while, Alice reached out and wiped the cold sweat from her forehead.
Why was that...
She actually dreamed of Kennedy again, and it was still such a terrifying nightmare.
Sure enough, was Kennedy a nightmare for her now?
Alice said to herself, "Five years..."
"It has been five years, Alice."
"You still haven't gotten rid of your private demons."
"You should have forgotten that man."
Thinking of this, Alice took a deep breath and curled up on the sofa like a helpless child.

At hospital
"Mr. Kennedy, the porridge has cooled down," Nathan reminded Kennedy kindly.
Kennedy was holding the phone, frowning. He looked unhappy.
Hearing Nathan's reminder, his look turned gloomy, and he said coldly, "I don't need you to remind me."
Nathan said, ".. it is no longer edible."
"Throw it away," Kennedy said without hesitation.
Nathan asked, "Do you want a new one?"
"No!" Kennedy unbuttoned his collar irritably, always feeling that his anger was burning his body.
He clearly sent her a message when she was off work, and gave her enough time to get home, but why
didn't Alice reply?
Damn it.
Did she just want to ignore him? Did he have to beg her or abuse himself every time before she agreed
to come over?
But Kennedy knew that the trick he used last night could not be used today.
If he always pretended to be pitiful, she may only have a disgust for him.
But...he had to see her.
Thinking of this, Kennedy became more irritable.
As Kennedy's assistant, Nathan naturally didn't want to watch him being frustrated, he also wanted to
help Kennedy solve problems.
After thinking, Nathan said, "Mr. Kennedy, or..."
"What? Say it." Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
"Miss Nelson doesn't want to see you, but you can go to meet her."
Hearing it, Kennedy paused, but thought it was a good idea.
"First, give Miss Nelson a few days to rest. After all, she is very tired from taking care of you in the
hospital these days. She will run off her legs if she has to come to hospital every day. During her rest
period, you can have a good rest and recuperation then leave the hospital..."
After hearing this, Kennedy probably understood what Nathan meant.
He squinted his eyes and looked at him inquisitively.
Nathan was frightened by Kennedy's stare, and he began to wonder if he had said the wrong thing just
now. Otherwise, why would Mr. Kennedy look at him like that?
"Mr. Kennedy, if you think what I said is unavailable, then..."
"OK." Kennedy interrupted him before he finished speaking, "Ask someone to prepare some food and
send it here."
Since he wanted to recover, he had to eat on time and couldn't be so decadent..
And he was in the game, so he couldn't see clearly.
In recent days, Alice had been struggling to take care of him, and she had to deal with the accumulated
work in the company. However, he was trying to ask her over here.
She was obviously asleep last night, but she still came here with a coat for him.
Thinking of the way she was wearing her pajamas last night, Kennedy knew what a jerk he had done.
Nathan was taken aback for a moment, "Mr. Kennedy, do you really want to have dinner?"
"Yeah." Kennedy nodded.
"Okay, then I'll go right away." Hearing Kennedy was about to eat, Nathan hurried to the door and
called someone.
At the same time, he felt so upset. It seemed that his advice was quite useful. After all, he knew why
Kennedy was upset.
But... it was all because of Alice.
For Kennedy, he never had a place.
Forget it, he was not such a stingy man who would be jealous of a woman.
